Plans for an event in Soton on Wednesday evening. Same day we're playing Lazio in a friendly.

Luckily Lazio fans are well known for their anti-fascist and non violent tendencies <whistle>

Just a bunch of misunderstood young men who want thar country back :bandit:

Ok, I get all that, but who else is doing anything to stop knife crime, tell me that, because from where I'm sitting and not protesting, no one is.

No one is despite it being a topic on here for a very long time, even the troubles at the weekend, it appeared to me every single British politician went missing, and it wasn't until Monday morning all those same missing politicians were queueing up to do interviews with the media.

When will the next three kiddies be slaughtered, when will the next soldier leaving his barracks be slaughtered, how many more knife fights are we going to see in places like Southend and London.

I'm waiting because despite all the recent deaths, no one is still answering and all this recent shower of shhite has done is bury the issue, lost in the hate....

and that's sad mate, because one day it could be your daughter, or my son, or my grandson, your neighbours daughter, and trust me it will come to Cornwall eventually, how many more broken hearts, how many more tears...

because the next event like Southport, I will be bringing these comments up again, I don't want excuses or well we can't do this or that, I want fooking answers, that's why they are supposed to be OUR politicians, but until the next death mate...

and like with the BLM race riots when people said the looting and violence had to happen to force change, well mate...maybe next time I will be joining a march, but of a more peaceful nature.

I agree with the knife crime sentiment (it will be interesting in the number of knife attacks on innocent people unrelated to gangs). This going around with knives fighting like in southend in broad daylight needs to be tackled.

I don't think the event that happened in southport is preventable though. This was a random act by a nutter who went off the rails and just happened to use a knife. He could have used a saw, he could have used a car etc etc. Stuff like that can't be policed and if you go with the mental health route rather than psychopath then that means you need better mental health services.

You see this **** occasionally (well in bbc news) happen in china and that place is the most policed and cctv'ed place in the world if we are to believe our news.

I'll tell you what else I find extremly odd, is that we suddenly have the ability to mobilise thousands of officers across the country as a special task force, but we don't seem to have the mobility to put those same officers on in every town and city, tackling knife crime and carrying out continued stop and searches, relentlessly, and I wouldn't care if they stopped me half a dozen times a day, if it got the blades off the street.

During the covid lockdown there were up to 9 coppers stopping cars and fining people for being out.
Meanwhile about 50 yards away, there were Romanians partying on a green. Barbecue on the go, drinking and driving and the filth did absolutely fook all except send one plod round 6 hours later to ask the few left to move on

Lazy useless incompetent arseholes targeting the working man for easy money whilst turning a blind eye to real issues.

I was listening to somebody talking about the prosecution process and how to get these cases through the courts. He was saying that like in 2011, they will open courts 24/7 and fast track prosecutions.

He also said that unlike 2011 there is an increase of smartphones, but a decrease in smart people lol. As most offenders were either filming their offending or had easily accessible messages where they had told people about their intentions to offend. Which is making it easier for the CPS to convict them.

Years ago, A bloke I know who knew a chief constable think it was, (might of been Southport too). He was told by the copper that most eastern Europeans pretend they can't speak English,
They then have to get an interpreter and process them which takes time and a cost of 6-800 quid.
So unless a serious crime they just don't bother.
That in itself causes a rift imo as "one rule for one and one for another".

No idea how pulling down statues compares with witch hunting Muslims, attacking anyone who "looks" Muslim, setting fire to bins, cars, shops, an old bill station and a hotel, throwing rocks and bottles because a deranged 17 Yr old Christian brutally murder 3 little ones.

One was at worst criminal destruction and one looks like people paying homage to the nazis in Germany when they drove the Jewish people out of society.

(Edit...ain't defending the statues being destroyed damaged BTW...just do not see them being in any way comparable to this **** show).

If people don't like starmer fair enough (personally think he's a poor man's Tony Blair) but some of the stuff on social media reads like some are using the senseless murders to further their political views.

Not aimed at anyone on here BTW...just some of the ****e online.
Yeah I know about BLM pulling down statues.

What about when the scum bags were attacking the police and their horses? Can you remember this much of an outburst about that?

I wonder if the cops will go looking for the group of individuals that intimidated a SKY News crew yesterday, also attempting to stab the tyres on their vehicle near-by. Two tier policing Keir?

This guy is also on a video on the beeb joining in with attacking a car.

I'd recommend everyone to watch. Just to see him fail to break the window with his elbow and then hold it afterwards in pain <laugh>

His charges:

Violent disorder
Three counts of robbery
Two counts of burglary
Criminal damage

He won't be breathing fresh air for a while.

Yeah, I seen that mate.

Jess Phillips response is an utter disgrace. She is quite literally making excuses for Asians who are rioting whilst her party are calling white people thugs.

I don’t see the difference, personally. Both thugs.

Labour are handling this terribly and if anything they are throwing petrol on the fire.

Lol, I can't find the video. Link me up if you can.

I see these pricks have been arranging a 'protest' in Nottingham which was targeting an Old People's home ffs <doh>

Nottinghamshire Police have urged groups planning to attend a protest this week not to after it was found the location advertised online is the address of an elderly person.

The force says the address has "no links whatsoever to any immigration business".

"Officers have visited the address and it is home to an elderly person with vulnerabilities," the statement adds.

Police advised those planning to attend "any protest in this location refrain from doing so".

Durham city centre is on lockdown for the next 24 hours. People have been urged to check their gardens for weapons in the west end of Newcastle (Asian area) as they’re expecting big trouble tomorrow night.

Hnmm that's where I'm staying next week. Could be interesting if not calmed down by then.
