Won’t be as bad as back in the Christopher Needler days when we were in danger of going out of business and the first question at the AGM in the gym was from some old bloke about who should take our corners.....
Sort of reminds me of a Radio Humberside 'City Q&A' with Sir Adam and Peter Taylor, when the first set of questions were asked by a number of 'fans' planted in the audience. Adam's reply sounded remarkable scripted.

As if that had anything to do with the owner. And back then there were questions about catering and the toilets. It made you despair.
Did Needler give you an answer though? :emoticon-0138-think

Hopefully it's nowhere near as intrusive as asking who should take our corners...That might stump him given the depth in the squad.

That simply isn't true.
They had Walter identified as their man from the off. It then took a bit of time, but not that long at all in the scheme of things, to come to agreement with him, and his chosen assistants, to sort out the contracts and other paperwork. And then Walter also had a family holiday arranged.
During that process of course they would also have been talking plans & targets etc

"From the off" might be pushing it as they wanted Cooper as first choice, but he held out for a Prem job

I guess at this point it is fair to say that current squad is our first 11 for Bristol game. I don't think any new signings can make it to 11, or even that's healthy or not for cohesion.

Good thing is Bristol probably not the strongest team in league, we can still get points hopefully.

Under-21s full-back Kyle Fanning has joined Pitching In Northern Premier League East Division side Bridlington Town on a short-term loan.

Fanning joined the academy from Barnsley at Under-15s level and has captained the Under-18s on a number of occasions, as well as featuring for the Under-21s.

The right-back started the Under-21s’ friendly against Fenerbahçe and made bench appearances in warm-up games against North Ferriby and Scarborough Athletic.

Bridlington are preparing for their fourth season at step four of the non-league pyramid as they look to build on their 18th-placed finish last season, opening their 2024/25 league campaign with a home game against Carlton Town on Saturday 10 August.

Fanning is set to stay with Bridlington until Boxing Day.

Walter was not first choice. Steve Cooper turned them down for a start.
