We can only go on where the club is now... it's the full picture that way.

Thing is, out of that money what has been wasted? We were miles behind and all keep claiming we need a squad and players should be rotated. Not forgetting the bad luck with long term injuries to signings like Botman, Barnes and Targett and the unfortunate Tonali situation not down to Howe.
I'm not saying it's been wasted I was actually just pointing out that Howes been backed tremendously even if they don't make a big signing or two this summer.
Barnes maybe looks like 45 million they should perhaps have invested elsewhere mind, but otherwise that's it really.
Then again you need a squad and season before last Miggy was excellent, Murphy has proven to be a good versatile squad player for now and whilst I wouldn’t put him back at left back Burn has done well for us.
Barnes was a bit of a strange signing but hopefully will go on to prove himself now he’s fit
