The problem at this stage with signings falling through is that it puts us back 3 or 4 days to get the next in line signed up (or longer in our case).

Although we must remember Acun will not take it well to lose out this late in our targets - wouldn’t surprise me if he wants to pull a bigger rabbit out the hat.

Ok so if we put our best first team out from what we have at this moment - ignore your pessimism and frustration how do you think we’d do against Bristol- be realistic and not stupid . We played better second half last night and moved better.

He was at the game last night though, wasn't he?
No wonder he's signed for someone else then. I was wondering myself what they thought of it when I saw a photographer taking snaps of someone in the best seats, which were mysteriously all roped off? I'd gone by half time and I bet this player thought the same.

No idea in all honesty, Brizzle play Rosenior style so could be an interesting one. Will be like the start of Shota where the first 11 can compete but when we make subs it goes to ****

We lose.

Only reason we managed a draw yesterday was due to Fiorentina's changes in the second half. But, if we were to start that game with 11 players already through the door it'd be a travesty.

I totally agree. We really need to up the pace of all of this. Players and agents dragging it out (I get it), but we as a club need to be more ruthless.
Didn't Acun say his brain team find the players, the coach has his say then its over to him to clinch the deal?

What's embarrassing is people thinking because LR has gone we have no pulling power anymore. Money, location, etc all talk and are way more influenencial then LR is or was. Do you honestly believe moore and the wba lad would have given up more money and a better location for their family just to play for LR and a system that on evidence isn't fantastic for forwards
Our location didnt stop players signing for Steve Bruce.

We only drew with Scunny last season because we brought Tufan on and so on…

Ridiculous thing to say

We looked dross in the first half with, arguably, the best 11 we have right now.

It says something when bringing Longman on is considered an improvement. And that's no slight on the lad, he works his backside off, but I don't think anyone here was sad to see him go out on loan last season.

Our improvement in the second half yesterday was far more about our changes than it was about Fiorentina's.
