What pattern recognition? Any specifics?

Call me old fashioned but I'd rather wait for some actual facts to emerge rather than making assumptions based on what some utter balloons on social media are saying.

Since 2005 there have been 97 terrorist murders, 94 were committed by Muslims. (Source: Wikipedia so could be false. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_terrorist_incidents_in_Great_Britain)

Children were stabbed in Ireland in November in a similar way by a Muslim terrorist.

300 people killed by Muslims in France since 1995.

There is a pattern. Don’t have to be thick to see it.

(I agree with you though - need to wait for evidence. But it’s denying reality to pretend otherwise. The defending silence from the police on this is contributing to more riots imo)

The pattern recognition you are looking for is racism.

No, it’s not. It’s that a specific religion kills more people than others.

During the BLM riots; we were told that rioting is the voice of the unheard. That they had no way to let their emotions out. Now that White British people are rightly up in arms, out come the hollow words about how disgusting we are.

The government and police have bought this all on themselves by being completely pathetic. They have shown everyone that those who riot and kick off are the only ones that are listened to.

Also, the EDL doesn’t exist any more. So the media are lying.

Mate, so BLM rioting in England was not by ‘British people’. And someone does something bad and it is automatically Muslims?
Are you sure you don’t have a race issue?

1) theres no such thing as the EDL anymore. This is a lie by the media. This is a group of justifiably angry people.

2) I didn’t blame anyone. I said that is what the group are doing. And that it’s fairly easy to understand why

But you made a clear distinction between non-white protesters as not British and white protesters as British. Just hang your swastika on the pole and be honest.

You won’t see this in the media as they are more concerned about protecting the criminals than they are about protecting civilians.

Two tier justice system in this country is a joke.

Eager to paint people as ‘far right’. No they’re just angry because the government is failing in its most basic duty.

They will pretend it’s “mental health” again probably and do all they can to hide the perpetrators background.

You will see it in the dreaded "media", but they have a duty to report as accurately as possible, so I suspect they will wait for that to be confirmed by police (if it's actually true in the first place).

With regard to the police being "pathetic" and not naming the perpetrator - he's 17. It would be illegal for them to do so, as naming an under 18 defendant is only done after a court orders it to be in the public interest (which it will do, but that takes a little bit of time).

As always, there are little grains of truth in some of what you say, but they're covered in such hyperbolic nonsense that they get hidden.

Oh look, the arrest has been reported by "the media" - here it is both in the Mail, and the Guardian, so some balance between left and right media is represented. They were the first two places I looked as well...

You see what I mean about hyperbole?
A flick knife! All the right-wingers I have seen spouting off on social media saying it was a muslim with a machete… People are so full of hate.

Huw Edwards has this morning chosen to plead guilty to three counts of making and sharing indecent images of children

The charges relate to 41 images that were shared on a WhatsApp chat between 2020 and 2022. Edwards was charged with having six Category A images, the most serious classification of indecent images, on a phone. He was also accused of having 12 Category B pictures and 19 Category C photographs

One Category A photo involved a child who was aged between 7-9 years old, while all other photos related to a child aged between 12-14 years old

And yet this **** was responsible for reporting on the biggest news stories for years, including the death of the queen. It just goes to show you never know what people get up to in private.

This is absolutely the point. The BBC will get a kicking over it (unfairly), but you just don't know what goes on behind closed doors. We'll all have unknowingly worked with people up to no good at some point in our careers, without having had the slightest idea.

Yeah, I'm not faulting the BBC here. How were they meant to know? When I started working for the company I am now working for, I was given training by someone who got done a few months later for the same thing Edwards has pleaded guilty to - possessing indecent images of children. I felt sick even though I only worked with him for a very short time.
