That’s a bit of a generalisation if I may say so. You are probably talking about fox hunting, which I abhor.

I have known of many horrendous examples of feral people on council estates keeping animals in appalling conditions, including breeding fighting dogs.

I had a cooling couple of pints and a meal in a sports bar yesterday, and watched my first and possibly last hour of this Olympics.

It doesn’t interest me in the slightest.

The athletics really brings it to life for me, especially the middle distance running. Usain Bolt is badly missed though. The bloke had charisma.
I've just watched a 1928 clip of penny-farthing racing Spellbinding stuff, they should bring it back.

I liked the Olympics in the era of Ovett and Coe, but am with you on this one.

I used to like boxing in the same period, but now I find it barbaric and a circus. I'd love to smack Eddie Hearn around the chops.

In the women’s boxing at the Olympics this morning, an Italian female boxer (Carini) fought an Algerian man who identifies as a woman.

The Algerian man broke her nose and the Italian was forced to quit in tears after only 46 seconds, saying that she could not cope with the weight of the man’s punches.

It’s difficult not to be angry at what this Woke bull sh it ..because that’s what it is …has led to now.

If a man punches a woman in the street and breaks her nose, he goes to prison. Why is the Olympics different ?

Not as clear-cut as that. The Algerian grew up as a girl with a high testosterone level. She has been banned previously but the Olympic committee is not so strict. I agree with the point that she should not be allowed in the event, but what on earth has it got to do with "Woke" whatever that means. Every on I ask gives a different definition.

'Woke' is any opinion to the left of GB News, Suella Braverman, the Daily Mail and Reform UK.

The Algerian man has twice been confirmed to possess the male chromosome.

Both official boxing organisations told the woke IOC that they should not sanction the fight.

The Italian lady who was the victim of the assault had just told the media she has never been hit so hard in her life.

    It is wrong.

It is “woke” because the IOC is yet another organisation that has succumbed to the poisonous ideology that biological gender is not the be all and end all - and that anyone can be whatever they want.

Have a look at the Algerian bloke’s pictures of his trainings nd ask yourself if you’d allow your own daughter to step in a ring with him.

This is where the Woke ideology ends up …

Using the word "Woke" always muddies any discussion, a bit like "gammon". You made a perfectly good point about the boxer who has failed testosterone tests in the past, but these words I find serve no purpose. I haven't read about the male chromosome, only the testosterone, but it doesn't matter he/she shouldn't be in a ring with a 100% woman. Ironic that if Russia still controlled the eligibilty rules he/she would be banned. And now the Algerians are up in arms.

Following on from this morning’s sanctioned fight between a man and a woman at the Olympics, Mike Tyson has just announced that as from today he wishes to be known as Michelle Tyson. Not only that, he plans to contest the women’s lightweight division in the Paris Olympics.

Commenting on this news, @lardiman said

“I welcome this brave announcement from Michelle (she/her) Tyson.

Even though she still has a penis and three days of stubble, and can punch a hole in a brick wall, it’s her RIGHT to compete against women, regardless of the consequences to them.

Any injuries incurred in the ring by her opponents will be the fault of Nigel Farage, and the Daily Mail”.

I have no clue about gender anymore. We have a young lady in our drama group who identifies as a man and will only audition for male parts. She wants to be known as they. As far as I am aware there are only two sexes. I can identify as George Clooney it doesn’t make me George Clooney.
