Result don't really matter. All about the system and bedding it in for the handful on show that will be in the squad this year.

We won't be playing Newcastle next year. So zero ****s given on the result for me.

i dont think itll be close to a hammering
its their first friendly, i expect we will win

Just hoping they don't put out their 1st 11 otherwise it could be embarasing. Yep, friendly result don't count for anything as such, but it doesn't help anything (other than the already urgent urgency, and the bed wetting) if we get another hammering.

They wont have close to their strongest team
Its their very first friendly
They fly to japan after our game

And then have another 5 friendlies

We will be far fitter and we wont play the same lineup as doncaster

None of their full internationals who were in the summer competitions have returned to training and they've offloaded some great backups because of FFP.

That said they'll still put out a stronger side than we will.

For example, they've got 5 goalkeepers who'd walk into our team.

Ah well. Fancied our chances if Trippier was left back.

I fancy our chances if they have one goalie in goal and the other 4 outfield.
