If it wasn’t at Woodison, it didn’t happen clearly - the theatre of, erm, beams.Mentioned the highlights I had seen. Sadly he may have only played a maximum of three games at Goodison while at Newcastle, dont recall any cup games in the 80’s

Not sure about this one.
First of all, Irish isn't a race.
Secondly half the Irish people I know are nicknamed Paddy and use the name as their sobriquet (I also have a welsh mate who we call Taff, who also uses the name himself).
I mean, its not something I would just call an Irish person, without their leave, but its used quite a lot by brits as a term of endearment towards Irish friends.

Cool story.

Really sorry if I posted something I shouldn't there, certainly wasn't my intent.

If his three seasons at Newcastle were his best football…then that’s a shame as his highlights were even more limited.
oh, there is the fishing rod/chicken incident. So that’s a good one
Crap

The game makes no difference mate the skill to do it was impressive.Ah, a testimonial game.
that’s his highlight now?
I always thought Gazza was sort of Englands answer to George BestYou ever seen Gazza play by the way, or are you just going on what the general consensus and misty eyed media tell you?
Yeah, he was a very good player. But he ****ed his own career right up and, on the grand scheme of things, did **** all with it.
I love it how he's deemed some great or other when the only things he over won in his entire career where when he went on holiday to Scotland and played for Rangers. He rarely played a the very top of the game, if ever, club wise. Probably some CL football with Rangers maybe, I'd have to check.
Otherwise, he was always at a nearly ran club.
Fosse was referring to Mainoo's ability to run (forwards) with the ball at his feet. Wilshere was another who had that. Grealish another.
(not Trent laaa BTW)

I could be way off on that
Just how it looked to me from distance
I wasn’t around so can’t comment loadsGeorge was my hero growing up - every kid in the playground wanted to be George ... the very best 'dribblers' have the ability to glide past opponents and ride challenges due to incredible balance ...
George certainly had that in buckets and whilst I don't rank Gazza anywhere near having George's mercurial talent - he did have those skills more than most ... and certainly compared to any other English players of his generation...
