I enjoyed watching Mainoo, him and Cole Palmer were probably my two favs from what little we saw of them.
You ever seen Gazza play by the way, or are you just going on what the general consensus and misty eyed media tell you? Yeah, he was a very good player. But he ****ed his own career right up and, on the grand scheme of things, did **** all with it. I love it how he's deemed some great or other when the only things he over won in his entire career where when he went on holiday to Scotland and played for Rangers. He rarely played a the very top of the game, if ever, club wise. Probably some CL football with Rangers maybe, I'd have to check. Otherwise, he was always at a nearly ran club. Fosse was referring to Mainoo's ability to run (forwards) with the ball at his feet. Wilshere was another who had that. Grealish another. (not Trent laaa BTW)
And yeah, as BRB correctly says, Palmer is another. Top player, another with all the potential in the world to eclipse anything Gazza ever did.
Gazza at Italia '90 was fantastic... guess you were just a rip in a scally's condom back then - so will forgive your ignorance
Agree with almost all that you say - and yes Gazza did **** up his own career in more than one way - but he was the first in a generation to have the ability you alude to and which, I agree, the likes of Grealish and Palmer also have ...
Funny cos i aint seen Grealish pass a player since he moved to 115 fc. I remember gazza 96 Where he made an absolute fool of himself along with several other players. And scored one goal against the jocks. Whoopdedoo
Yeah, Gazza had some skill, did well at points in his time at Spurs and Lazio when recovered. His best days in Scotland. A few moments of magic with England, free kick to setup platt in 90, his performance against Netherlands in 96 and taking Scotland to the cleaners with a world class finish. but Hoddle, Waddle and players like McManaman etc were better and for longer periods. if he went to United, what could have been?
Apparently when Southgate handed in his resignation. The FA knocked it back so he passed it to Bellingham who passed it sideways to Saka.Saka passed back to Pickford After 100 passes Kane put it in
nice one, not seen it offered to ST holders yet. have the memories of league trophies on parade at Goodison, so don’t need that sort of thing.
