The fact the guy is registered as a Republican may be significant but might not be the slam dunk some think it is, particularly as it's also reported he's donated to a left-leaning political organisation. There are reasons someone who isn't really a Republican might register as one. To vote against Trump in a Presidential primary for example. I'd suggest we wait until more detailed information comes out.

This post is also delusional. Or at least I assume so because I’m not reading all of it
Spoken like the person you have revealed yourself to be

Perhaps you should start spouting this stuff in real life as well of (ideally instead of) on here and then people close to you can give you an intervention. Unless the fear is that they won’t and will run a mile instead. I assume that isn’t actually the case and really hope it isn’t

You do need help though. And that isn’t meant with any malice

I did think he may genuinely be republican who has simply flipped .
Agree about the information , probably going to be released some time early December :emoticon-0136-giggl

I said the same. But I also spoke from not knowing how that system even works and if that registration is solely for primary voting. I expect, being the US, it is different by state ?

We have certainly seen evidence on here about how too much time in certain Republican aimed circles can lead you to basically snap completely and become detached from reality. I can only imagine it is worse when you are younger and in a country with access to guns

Said it before, but I’m still shaking my head at the ‘fact’ that the problem with the left is that they haven’t ever got into a fist fight and don’t have enough testosterone.

My 2p on the Trump assassination attempt is that this is an unmitigated disaster for the democrats. If he had been killed it would be too.

Personally, I detest the guy, but don’t wish him dead. I don’t feel sorry for him though. I do feel sorry for the bystander that has been murdered and their family.

I often have this convo with my daughter who is in the US and is a Trump supporter when she calls me a leftie and a democrat. I tell her if I was in the US I would probably be a republican, but not if Trump was in charge.

Rather the same as here. I lean right (though not barking levels) but couldn’t vote for Rishi, despite him being a Saints fan and Indian.

I am hoping this labels me as a decent human rather than a leftie or a righty.

You are honestly so boring. Please stop posting about me. You’re obsessed.

I think it is kind of worrying that anyone would say: he can’t be Republican, that doesn’t make sense. Republicans are (hopefully) a diverse group with a broad range of views.

Someone has to be right-leaning on here, otherwise the lefty echo chamber would be deafening… everyone would end up with blue hair and going and getting sex changes
A bizarre thing to focus on. The issue that actually fewer people agree with from all sides than almost any other. I’ve had to keep very quiet as I have a friend who says they have a trans child and is freaking out over how labour (the centre left government) are banning puberty blockers. Funny you make it sound like a left-right issue.

I remain far from convinced by the arguments of people who want to be able to give these to children and who dismiss the findings of the Cass review because it doesn’t give the conclusion they like (who else here would ever do something like that I wonder?). But I can’t really tell my friend that perhaps they should get their child more mental health help rather than considering fleeing the UK. I’d lose a friend. Like I mentioned before - it’s the sort of thing that is very easy to go on about online. But in the real world it is not so much

Not everyone falls neatly into a box where you can predict all of their views based on one issue. At least not in the U.K.

It is a bit more possible in the USA as they are a lot more polarised. And you seem to think that is where we actually are so I guess this comment makes sense

Also... they were far gone enough to shoot someone. At that point 'makes sense' kind of goes out of the window, as we've unfortunately seen this week with some of the disturbing news closer to home

I’m honestly concerned. I don’t know why. You are so rude and nasty that you don’t really deserve it. But I don’t believe you could possibly be as rude and vile as you are when you aren’t hiding behind a keyboard.

No in “Everywhere must be the same as America-land” you must be either Left or Right. And whichever you pick means you also must subscribe to every view of the most extreme members who identify in each group. Or something like that
