Chambers merits are he’s versatile and largely played at the top level. He’d be a great acquisition and evidence of the boards willingness to enhance the team.
If each player we sign is as good or better than we have in the starting 11, we're moving in the right direction. Little steps....
WoL reporting that Chambers has officially left Villa and is a free agent (not sure why that is news as his contract should have expired at end of June. Maybe there was an offer on the table?), and is close to signing for us. Near £1m deal having Is dotted and Ts crossed for Adams to Direby. Reading a lot about Willock and his attacking desires. He's not said much about defence though. Erol will be all over that.
Chambers still had a year left I believe but they've agreed to terminate his contract/let him become a free agent. If we do get close to 7 figures for Adams that'll be pretty decent. The poor guy has never managed to get a break or a run with us and he clearly fitted in at the Winter Wonderland so good luck to him.
Views on the away kit? Not wild about it tbh. Why is the badge different to the home shirt? I had hoped we’d seen the last of that ridiculous dragon
I don't mind it TBH. Agreed on the badge though, that should have been kept consistent across all the kit and clothing this year. Quite like the way they have (supposedly) taken inspiration from Welsh heritage and Riverside again.
I appreciate that we must be grateful to Vince and his fellow country folk, but would it hurt to have "Visit Wales" on the away kit?
https://getfootballnewsbene.com/kortrijks-star-player-linked-with-a-move-to-cardiff-city/ So he's playing for Korvick today. Number 17,their captain. Playing left sided attacking midfielder. 15 minutes gone having a good game so far. Score 0-0
They're not - Kortrijk are............ Can't see any difference if he plays in a friendly for them or us - he's running the same "risk" and the 2 clubs (and Tan) would know that.
