I've no problem with the sentence he received. The problem I have is with the ones that actually commit rape, very often getting a much lighter sentence.
I think the sentence is nonsense tbph. ****ing life, for sending messages that the court find "disturbing." I think his attorney is 100% spot on listening to the case,it's quite obviously a fantasy that was never actually feasible or planned to be done. Then there is the constant reporting that he is a "security guard" which I think is supposed to make the audience believe he was Hollys security guard. Which he wasn't. To add to this, during the arrest they actually used a ****ing swat team to barge down and destroy his door. Whilst Lucy Letby, who actually killed 7 babies, got a friendly knock. The judge also said "the defendent certainly did think it was feasible, but it wasn't due to his gross obesity" which again, makes you think "what the **** is going on in this court room?"
From what I understood he had previously attempted to lure / abduct two women (random members of the public) on seperate ocassions under some sort of threatening manner, failed on both ocassions I believe, one through a guy intervening and coming to the womans rescue. He had also purchased chloroform - I think even if his plan to abduct the television presenter had failed, he would have abducted someone off the street eventually. I agree about the swat team when compared to Lucy Letby, the only obvious difference being their gender.
My first thought was, if it wasn't for it being Holly Willoughby would the sentence have been that length of time. Not sure if the fact that he'd done similar 4 times previously added to the length of sentence he received. Obviously at present it was all fantasy but how long would it have been before that became a reality, perhaps not with Holly but certainly someone else? I suppose that we'll never know.
If it was four times previously, that's double to what even I thought...also something about messages that were too disturbing to even read out at the trial. The judge more or less admitted that he doubted the plan would have ever succeeded, but my main concern would be, he would succeed eventually with someone not in the public eye, and everyone would say to the cops how many warnings did you need. I think the fact he turned fantasy to actions, ie chloroform, conversations on the net, previous attempted abductions of members of the public, said he was a risk, after that we can argue whether the sentence was appropriate in comparison to other sentences handed down, but personally I don't know him, so couldn't give a shhite tbph...up to his lawyer to go to appeal.
I don't doubt he needed a sentence, but for me it was the fact it was a life sentence. I mean, Letby got 7 counts of life, so are we now saying that disturbing messages with potential to escalate = 1 dead baby? I find the lack of consistency when it comes to charges in the UK to be the problem. It's all over the place. I sometimes feel it's actually a random draw.
In the summary the judge said he threatened sexual violence previously against 4 young women, also this time it appears he tried to get 2 others involved in the kidnapping, also threatening violence against Holly's husband and children. I think there will be an appeal , it's been said he said to one of the guards, I've got 15 yrs to kill myself.
i hope he does succeed in killing himself the fat psychopathic scumbag. One less person to corrupt the innocent and kill the earth
Holly Willoughby has also plummeted in the sexiness scale over the past 2 years n all Which makes this crime even worse
also while tv presenters should certainly not be subject to these type of fears....It's still fresh in my meory that two tv presenters on two seperate ocassions in recent times had to step down from their positions, and we really shouldn't forget why, and one of those worked with the victim in this case. In the other case the BBC just shut up shop and the individual in question submitted themselves to hospital, so it's not just fat psychopatic unknown members of the public we need protecting from. Sorry just makes my blood boil when presenters can just step aside and think all will be forgotten.
I'd be absolutely shocked if that nut job has not got some sort of previous, it just all sounds too horrific for someone to just turn and do something that awful.
Judge dismisses charge against Alec Baldwin in trial. He will face no charges around the death of his colleague.
Just heard on the newspaper reviews this stalker of Willoughby's had 10,000 pictures of her on his phone, 10k ffs.
I was thinking those bodies in suitcases has got to be drugs related....the police have now named the guy whose picture is circulating in connection with it all....a Colombian National...fook that, I'm out lol.
