How are Labour doing after their first 12 months

  • Total voters

There’s no ID needed. Nothing to stop a husband voting on his wife’s behalf which is an accusation aimed at Muslim voters often but I’m sure it’s always happened. Or adult children using their elderly parents’ votes.

If they can forge the signature, yes - or just get the elderly parents / or whoever to sign, and then use it yourself.

They have your signature on file, so you have to sign and give your date of birth as part of sending it off, plus it's sent to a postal address, which of sorts is verification in itself. It could all still be forged I suppose, but a lot of effort to gain one vote.
So in theory some blke that had complete control of his wife could just fill the form in and tell her to sign it?

Yes mate, sort of same point Bwood made, I can see how it could be abused for sure.

Tbph thinking about it now, postal voting is pretty dodgy as it is so open to the types of fraud highlighted.

I think it's a bit mad to not even know what your local candidate looks like, to such an extent that you'd contemplate they don't even exist

Are we now not at a stage where the red tie lovers need to say ‘we won’ and embrace everything the red tie scumbag decides? then update us all on the forthcoming improvements in our life standards?

and the blue tie lovers need to come to terms with who makes the rules for now and maybe leave the thread?

No, at the moment we’re still at the stage of listening to whining twats saying “they’re all the same.”

Will update if this changes.

No mate, we are at the stage where the blue tie lovers are waiting for the arrival of the black death, to see how the red tie lovers handle it. No one will allow themselves to be locked down this time, and it will be so contagious lots of ties of all colours will be tumbling like dominoes...at which point I will get my green tie out the closet.

Houses of Parliament opening today, weird seeing the parties sit on opposite sides.
