Count Binface - who is standing against Rishi Sunak in the election - coming to Hull on tour
The novelty election candidate will be bringing his unique take on Britain to the city
Mark Page
One of Britain's best-known novelty political figures, who is taking on Rishi Sunak in this week's General Election, will be heading on tour to Hull later this year.

Count Binface is an "intergalactic space warrior" who has appeared in the past three general elections, beaming his way into the constituencies of standing Prime Ministers with his "MEGA plans" to "Make Earth Great Again". He is currently a candidate going toe-to-toe with the Conservative leader in the Richmond and Northallerton seat, in North Yorkshire, with a manifesto pledging the likes of cheaper croissants, the nationalisation of Adele, Wi-Fi on trains "that works", the return of Ceefax, and to make "all water bosses take a dip in British rivers to see how they like it".

He also wants to ban loud snacks from cinema and theatres, make National Yorkshire Pudding Day a Bank Holiday, cap the price of 99 flakes to 99p, and make Claudia Winkleman's fringe Grade-I listed
He first took on Theresa May in the 2017 General Election, "cunningly disguised" as 'Lord Buckethead', and appeared on Last Week Tonight with John Oliver and at the Glastonbury Festival. He also ran to be Mayor of London in 2021 "in a bid to gain control of the Earth Capital itself", receiving 92,896 votes. He ran again this year and garnered 24,260 votes.

Following his General Election campaign, Binface will be heading on tour later this year, including a stop at Social, in Humber Street, Hull, from 7pm on Tuesday, September 17.
Mrs Tash asked me today if I fancied tickets to see him at Social
I didn't...but I'd have voted for him there!

im a leftist in most things apart from the mass immigration which imo has made not only the UK, but europe far worse

i also want rich ****s properly taxxed, and social welfare to ensure no one should ever worry losing a job could mean they lose everything etc etc
and no one should have foodbanks in the first world

What do you think first world is? It's probably not what you think. It's nothing to do with wealth. It just so happens first world countries are wealthy (generally).

i think money addiction should be a thing
many people need rehab for it
the absolute sickening greed would make smaug jealous

why should foodbanks be a thing?

Yep. We get bogged down too much in distractions but ultimately this is what politics should be about. As time goes on things should be getting better and better for people. Health, wealth, living standards, services and infrastructure. Advancing technology should be making lives easier, cutting costs and even reducing the need for people to work as much. If we're not achieving that then something is wrong.

They shouldn't be a thing...anywhere.

Youre right
But im talking about the uk

Which again

We exchanged our workhouses to exploit foreign workers in asia
How disgusting is that?
Not only does it mean less jobs here

Apparently Reform might win Goole and Pocklington. Wonder if Pinder wins in my constituency (Bev and Holderness) for Labour because Graham Stuart is the biggest wet-wipe going. Looks like he baits kids with Werther’s.

I don't disagree with your point, but I don't think advancements in technology have reduced the need for work. In many respects they've increased it, as ironically people need more money to buy the labour saving devices, so in effect, they're using the time saved by the device so they can then work to get the money to pay for the device.

the amount of billionaires has grown expoentially in the last 30 years

thats also a lot of money not in the economy, but also the cause of stagnating wages
horrid labour conditions
and the list goes on

theres a massive massive massive difference between being a multi millionaire and a billionaire

If this comes out anything like, I don't think the polls have been that far off.
