This is a lot of windmilling to avoid admitting you’re just factually wrong Anyway we doing that Spurs top four bet?
The only fact here is that the majority of Scots do not give a ****. If I go into my local pub I will get anti English banter just as if I walked into an Arsenal pub in London I would get anti Spurs banter. Rangers/Celtic is a massive rivalry but most of Glasgow has other interests. If you ask them they may pick a side and that's it.
Just reflecting the football I'm watching. It's called projection brb, where people accuse you of things they are. So you are the miserable old sod. And I have just been called a **** from someone who has just identified themselves as a ...... yep a ****.
Gotta laugh at the people from other nations that take the England thing seriously, in the pub yesterday most were enjoying the England failings and imminent expulsion from the tournament and when you scored you had those who enjoyed the moment and some bantz between people and the couple of English lads, all good fun. If you looked around you could see the few silly ****s that were proper pissed off as if a random English bloke ( @Libby ) had ****ed their sister a week ago.
I don't think I've seen you write much positive, you seem depressed over your club and depressed over your country....I know you've been a long time without a trophy and I don't know how to break this to you....but I can't see that change anytime soon.
Think this helps sum up the other home nations last night when Bellingham scored. https://x.com/corey_g94/status/1807486784370081931?s=46&t=GjXW4PhG0s7kgSMl8GkTkw
Ange is taking them to glory and anyone who says otherwise doesn’t know anything. Doubly so if you happen to support a club even less likely to win anything. Mate.
Wow! I am not depressed at all about Spurs. I love what Ange is trying to do, at last we have a manager who gets the Spurs way. England is different. For me Southgate should not be manager, he had no track record before he got the job and he has been consistently negative throughout his time. He's not won anything despite his record being trotted out as a plus. I see that England did what they did despite him not because of him. He's lucky for sure and maybe that will get England over the line but it won't be from his judgement IMO. He has been lucky that teams like Germany, Italy, Spain, Holland, Brazil, have been below their usual standard perhaps only France have been up there. That has never been the case since 66. I watch football for entertainment winning trophies is a bonus but the game I am watching is what is important. It is incredible how you can reduce the fantastic footballers England has right now to such a clueless bunch. Even Southgate's mates the pundits have had enough.
Might as well go to the cinema for guaranteed entertainment. I like to leave a football ground with a win. Perhaps even more so when it’s not deserved. Maybe you don’t go to enough games to get it.
You and I are on different sides of the football spectrum. But I have to ask, if trophies are so important to you why do you stick with QPR? Same question to brb who claims trophies are all that matters and follows Gillingham. Very strange. If you all want trophies support City who buy them every year.
I'm trying to be positive as we're through and still in it. I do think another manager would be doing a lot better for us but ultimately its not reality. I think the players are basically going to have to manage things themselves.
You don’t pick your football team. You’re given it unless you’re a glory hunter or oddball. Success is relative. Yes I probably won’t see a trophy win but give me a decent cup run or promotion playing **** football over a glorious mid-table finish playing like prime Ajax. If I was a Spurs fan like most of the synagogue I’d want a trophy and top four regardless of playing style over ‘Angeball’ and not getting close because that is what success would be for Spurs.
I wish they would just take things into their own hands. Like they were reported to do when Bobby Robson was in charge, although I think that was more of a discussion.
