That wasn’t what my post was about. It was about how the argument Reform are making and how the way they pitch it is racist. I really did think it was obvious that my point was that it doesn’t matter how good most of the points made about the high numbers are (including those in this reply of yours) when the rhetoric is overwhelming focused on being anti Muslim specifically. It undermines the points being made because it reveals what is likely the true reasons for at least a lot of these people

Oh and despite your claims - “we are in the process of losing our national identity” is just a euphemism for “there are fewer white people than I think there should be”. Perhaps you didn’t know that. But that is what that means

I was going to post links and quotes to studies that support the forecasts and demonstrate the change in EU immigration to a negative figure. Also to the numerous examples of the fiscal benefits of migration and need to combat the effects of a declining workforce.

I had a look at Reform's ideas...thats all they are. There are no plans, it's not costed, it's just a list of soundbites and dog whistles.
Show me how they plan to reduce immigration, other than by declaring war on France when we land marines on their beaches.
Show me how they intend to fund all the tax cuts they've proposed, without bringing in more tax payers.

Your basic complaint about immigrants seems to be that they come at a cost to the country, and that we don't have room or resources. The vast majority of immigrants become tax payers, which we need more of due to an ever growing cohort of retirees. Pulling up the drawbridge to immigrants only works if our native population of working age people is growing faster than the non working and that isn't the case.

Reform Ltd has nothing to offer this country that will improve it - can you show me otherwise?
Farage and Tice are a pair of grifters working on behalf of themselves and their paymasters. They don't care about the UK, they just want to create chaos that they can profit from which is why they've not even produced a manifesto, merely a list of bullet points for the stupid to parrot.

Spot on. The idea that stopping immigration will somehow save the NHS falls at the first hurdle when you consider that the NHS would never have got off the ground without the Windrush generation, and all the subsequent waves of immigrants from the EU, and from all over the world. This country depends on immigrants, always has done, ever since the retreat of the glaciers. We are constantly being refreshed and reinvented by immigrants and the cultural diversity they bring.

I'm not a fan of journalists being ejected for no reason (as it's Femi I suppose it's possible he's done something at an event before that might somewhat explain it) but framing it as "Black journalist ejected" to imply some sort of racial discrimination is fairly dishonest in my opinion.

The issue with the post above is partly that it’s posted without context. And you are right - he was ejected for being Femi who is an outspoken left wing person. Not for his skin colour at all. Whether that was a good enough reason is worthy of discussion - probably not. It’s not a good look but it’s also bizarre framing. And all sides do it to varying degrees
