100%. Whitmer, Newsome, or Buttigieg. Any of those would be a credible and competent alternative to Orange Man.
Jamie Raskin always impresses me when he speaks.

It’s not as simple as that. It’s how it’s phrased and pitched. Most of the rhetoric seems specifically aimed at the Muslims who come in. Even if it is just aimed at any immigrant to the countryIt is rather funny how the bar for being ‘racist’ has basically become 'I don't think that the mass importation of a million foreigners in the last year was good'
It seems to be a moot point because it requires Biden voluntarily stepping down and it doesn’t seem like he will. Unless more people have words over the weekend. But you would have thought said words would have been had after the debate and/or the next morning. Instead the democrats declared him the winner, Obama has come out in support and he did a PR bit where he brushed it off and didn’t step down.100%. Whitmer, Newsome, or Buttigieg. His doctor, who happens to be his wife, is probably the one best placed to have a word in his ear. He might just listen to her. It’s going to be a very difficult conversation but for the the sake of pretty much the whole world, it needs to be done soon.It seems to be a moot point because it requires Biden voluntarily stepping down and it doesn’t seem like he will. The latter is the real issue - he knew there was a problem but didn’t really make it better.

62% voted to keep him as governor in 2021 despite the issues. I don’t necessarily think he would make a good President, just that pretty much anyone with half a brain has got to be better than either Orange Manchild or Biden.Newsome has been pretty bad for California. Thousands have moved to Florida for better living conditions, salary and start-up conditions. Crime rate is off the scale too. Not really sure what all the hype is about but I’d like to understand.

RFK Jr will probably get some more exposure now. Unsure what to make of him because it seemed like he was running to split the Democrat vote, but could now be more significant.
That's not ruled out many presidential candidates. Another clown at the circus but still significant. He’s an absolute arse of a man.

This is as funny as it is depressing

The latest estimates on migration from the Office for National Statistics. In 2023: 1.2 million people migrated into the UK and 532,000 people emigrated from it, leaving a net migration figure of 685,000. This forecast to fall to 350,000 approximately by 2030 the vast majority being non EU.
A vegetable puppet is better than an incoherent lunatic who supports and admires authoritarians. Despite what those on the right say they are not scared of him. They want him in power because he will approvingly nod as they do what ever they want. He just doesn’t understand global geopolitics. He appears to subscribe heavily to “might makes right”. Which when added to “America first” is a pretty bad combination for the world
Even if we entertain the idea that Biden is a puppet and other people have pulled the strings his entire presidency - it’s not like things in the USA have actually gone to hell in that time. Sure there has been inflation - but ours has been worse. I am always staggered by right wing American YouTubers who blame Biden for inflation when it is pretty much a worldwide issue.
A lot of people are genuinely worried about what Trump will do in power (leaving aside the fear mongering over whether he will try and stay in longer than the one more term he is allowed - something he has said he wants. But when he would be as old and doddering as Biden is now). But when people try and say this there is a hefty chunk of people who just scream “TDS”. It’s not deranged to have well found fears based on evidence. It just isn’t
You can’t read can you? Why must you be so disingenuous with every post. It really is just trolling now. You basically made up a quote despite quoting my post. That’s just ridiculous. I did not mention my opinion on Trump’s policies - notably because he doesn’t really have any. I said he was an incoherent lunatic who sucks up to authoritarian rulers rather than scares them as his fans claim. I guess if you consider bowing and scraping before America’s rivals a “policy” then yes I do disagree with that. But that isn’t what I said“a vegetable puppet president is better than someone who’s policies I don’t like”.
Do you understand how radicalised you have to be to present an opinion like this?
A president is required to make snap decisions that impact millions of people. You cannot have someone in the hot seat that can’t think and ****s his pants. It’s absolutely unbelievable to me that you can write this sentence.
It would be better to have the worst competent leader imaginable than someone who legitimately can’t make any decisions because they are mentally unable to.
So - we believe the high numbers as absolute gospel. But must ignore when they go down because those are a lie. It’s a clown world you live inExactly Jabbo.. these numbers are ****ing huge. Absolutely huge. Working tax payers are having to foot the bill for a massive amount of people - and it grows every single day.
And you can ignore the forecast of a decline because it’s a massive lie. Just like all government forecasts.
Oh look - you once again have ignored the post you replied to and are replying to something else. It’s getting boring now. I don’t actually care about why you hate immigration. At all. That wasn’t what my post was about. It was about how the argument Reform are making and how the way they pitch it is racist. It doesn’t matter that you don’t think your opinion on the issue is racist or not. I know you are king troll on here but it isn’t actually all about youIt is as simple as that. If you even raise the slightest concern about immigration numbers/policy, you are instantly called racist. This is why people that support Farage (and yes-Trump) continue to support them despite all the racist/misogyny labels. These words are now completely meaningless. They have become buzz words used to silence political opinions.
My hatred of mass immigration policy has absolutely zero to do with race. It has everything to do with stopping the pressure on already crumbling infrastructure and how we handle things here.
I will absolutely be open for more immigration and helping more refugees etc. once we sort out the issues with this country and construct a more sensible approach.
For me, a good analogy of our current immigration policy is letting a crackhead adopt some children.
We HAVE to fix Great Britain. Then we can worry about everything else. But until we fix this country, it’s crazy to consider helping more. Especially when we are losing our own national identity in the process.
