City won't accept £10m for Greavesy....Those days are over...!!...City should just laugh and ask them if they're taking the pi$$?
They wouldn't. But it does mean that the bidding war might now ramp up, I just hope Greaves makes the right choice because at his age the next move is crucial for his career. If he ****s it, he could end up not playing or slogging it out at the wrong end of a table.
I've skimmed through the last six pages or so. Admittedly with my ADHD I can struggle to absorb information unless I'm really concentrating. Which I wasn't because it was really dull. So am I right that Omar's gone; owner's choice but that was the way it was always gonna be. We're a patsy, bum-****ed by the big boys. Greaves has gone to Ipswich for half of what he's worth. But, ya knaa, big club an' that. Philogene has been sold to Barcelona but because they're a big club they've had our pants down and we'll end up paying them to take him because we're now their bitch. And our new manager is a fanny, who knaas nowt and is a ****ing big German fanny. Who'll be sacked before the season starts.
He deleted all his old tweets towards match-fixing case of Fenerbahce vs. Trabzonspor and that became news immediately, so not a fancy start to be honest.
Any move to the premier league is a good move for Greaves but I can’t help but feel it won’t take long before it would become pretty obvious he could play for a lot better side than Ipswich, no disrespect intended there. I think if he moved to a Spurs/Newcastle/Villa type side he would be a first 11 player at that level of club by the end of the season.
Happier with this sort of news. If we can get a lot of the deadwood off the books that's where we should be freeing up our headroom, not with our first team players. Woods to Exeter and Longman to Milwall would be nice to hear about soon too.
We'll have to pay Woods off with the money he's on if we want him gone permanently this summer. I'd keep Longman around, there's a player in there and as a backup or rotation winger we can do a lot worse. He's better than Lokilo.
I think it could be a pretty good fit. I assume he'd be pretty much guaranteed games there unlike at a bigger club. And they'd make use of his abilities with their style of play, unlike Everton where I think Dyche would just have him staying back and kicking it long like any clogger can do.
We should, but it's not going to free up much. Lokilo and Longman will be on modest wages, whereas from the sound of it selling Tufan could free up enough to sign two or three players on Slater or Jones-tier contracts.
