Proof of that will be in player recruitment rather than Head Coach though
Our model is okay, if used correctly. It’s slightly changed recently with youngsters from abroad brung in making very little impact. Is there any model that can guarantee promotion? It’s getting harder each year imo.
Busy day today, just glad this managerial search looks to be over. I know very little about him so it’s hard to judge. He’ll need properly backing this summer but that can be discussed once he’s in place.
Absolutely certain he'll be judged on results, it could have been anyone, it'll be the same formula. Pointless slagging the fella off until then, geezers getting slated and hasn't even been appointed yet.

Plus it is changing. People may laugh but going for a 34y/o backup goalkeeper is a clear sign of it. Surely if Speakman was deadset on youth at all costs Young or a kid brought in would be the backup.
We need dressing room presences to allow the kids to flourish so we can sell them. We need to be a shop window club because thats the only way to function in this league without parachute payments.

Lets see...I hope im wrong..I just know Speakman is top dog its his way or no way...im just old school and frustrated...manager used to make all the decisions..(Also, Ive heard some really unproffesionals actions by Speakman...and im not a fan)

We def need a balanced squad but we will have more success buying and selling youngsters than going for experienced players like we use too. This model has brought us experinced players to complimnet what we have, the issue was last summer we didnt bring in enough ready to play players. We did the 2 summers before so 66% of the time we have got the balance spot on
This model took us out of L1 and got us to the Championship playoffs, we then had a really poor window
That poor window can happen with any model. I remember one under bruce where we just seemed to sign slow CMs, but the windows before with him were good
There isnt 1 set model that guarantees you success
This model is the way we can be succesful long term
They’re all a risk, let’s just see where we are at the end of August we’re all twisting our knickers over hypotheticals, again
