We’ve been watching him from afar for years is my guess, I don’t think even speakman has the brass neck to claim he was the 1st choiceHe needs binning like. He's the wrong fit for this club - billy bullshitters and management textbook reciters don't go down well in this neck of the woods
When we appoint the HC and he tries to tell us all that he or she was "always our no.1 choice" then I may chuck my laptop out the window.
I guess All We Are Saying, Is Give Bris A Chance (sorry)the holding midfielder stuck out for me…..one that he has one and that it is so crucial to his style when we don’t have one and secondly the name of that holding midfielder Bonke Innocent, what a great name
Yes you did . . . . you invaded . . . . oops, wrong one !No I didn't!
That’s all you can do Bob thanksIt's not work permit related, it's down to who controls what,
That's what I've just be told after the England match. A sticking point to be over come. That's all.
I'm with my guy tomorrow night, if I can I will update.
If I get no new info, I will keep stumb
That they want to keep them as part of the coaching set up is pretty clear and isn’t really up for debate. It's proof he values Dodds and Proctor as part of our coaching set up and wants to keep/develop them.
Whether that's right or wrong is up for debate. If it has cost us coaching appointments it looks stubborn and foolish if we end up with an inferior coach, if not then it's sticking to a vision which isn't necessarily a bad thing.
While we know as little as we do there are several answers to every question and they range from Speakman being an arrogant savant to some sort of modern day footballing visionary.
But we know **** all and anything that states one way or the other as a definitive truth is pretty easy to disregard.

Cheers for posting that, a very good read and seems to fit the squad we havehttps://totalfootballanalysis.com/article/regis-le-bris-tactical-analysis-scout-report-tactics
Here’s a bit of a write up, the bit below sticks out.
“His extensive background in working with young players may partially explain his success with the joint-fifth youngest squad in Ligue 1 this term.”
I’d be more inclined to believe him around the sticking to the vision piece if the head coach appointments were easy fits with our vision for our playing approach and the squad he has overseen.
I spoke to him at an event after the league 1 promotion and I enjoyed the discussion and was supportive of what he was saying about approach, vision and interestingly he talked about the ideal of coaches being easy fits with our approach/vision/squad.
personally I don’t think he has delivered on that and has been pretty scattergun, he has also overseen a largely positive position of young players in the English game to a largely poor position of young players from abroad
I’m not against the approach he originally set out but I’m losing faith lost faith in his ability to execute it successfully.

He won’t say number 1 choice but I’d expect there’ll be something along the lines of always admiring him or such like.He needs binning like. He's the wrong fit for this club - billy bullshitters and management textbook reciters don't go down well in this neck of the woods

A position I hope is addressed nice and early this summerit was a good read….he’ll need a proper holding midfielder, clear from that write up that it is fundamental to his style of play
Just need someone to come along now with a tactical , corporate PowerPoint ......
You're hired!

Worked for Beale so I reckon I’d have a chance
Honestly I don’t think they will. It feels like the fans will be on a constant witch hunt ever since the Beale situationcan we just agree that many of us will have heard different things regarding whats going on at SAFC, some of it may be right, some maybe poop, some may have elements of both,
no matter who comes they will be given the backing of the fans, surely? we need to be united as 1 going foward, forget what has happened/happening.
Everything happens for a reason.
