May be convenient, but I wouldn’t be surprised at all if true. The promotion got to speakmans head. Massively. Wants control over every detail wherever he can get it. Needs to go.

Do people really think that Speakman is willing/wanting to sabotage the success of the club and thereby his own career to save Mike Dodds? Do people really think that KLD is willing/wanting to sabotage the success of the club and tens of millions of pounds (with the likes of Rigg etc) to service the needs of Speakman?
This is where people need to perhaps take a step back and apply a bit of critical appraisal when reading rumours.

you make a good point but I also wonder if either Speakman or KLD realise they’re doing it. Or are they arrogant enough to think their way is right and as a result it will all work out?
Im not saying they are. I mean I certainly think Speakman is. Hard to know with KLD. But the fact Speakman is still here and the fact we still don’t have a head coach suggests to me they’re content and think it will all work out.
If it is him and his assistant is staying there. Then guess what........

I guess there’s a difference between controlling every detail and being interested in every detail. A strong leader is able to delegate out.
not saying Speakman isn’t. But the guy you’re quoting is saying Speakman wants to control every detail. Which isn’t effective leadership.
We want a director of football who can close a deal and is flexible. This manager search has been an utter shambles from start to finish.
He did great for the first 2.5 years of his tenure, the last 12 months have been an utter calamity and in any other club or business he would’ve been gone at the same time as Beale or as soon as the final whistle went last month.
100%. What does KLD have to gain from the club languishing in the championship when he can make millions in the premier league
If people are brought in to the club for a specific role, they should be allowed to do so without direct interference. Don’t think he gets that.
