Hope Scout is correct because what I’ve been told tonight is the complete opposite. I’m praying it’s not true but Dodds and Proctor are preparing to take the start of pre season, just a whisper but no reason to believe where it’s came from is lying of course.
I'd imagine that would have to be true, be foolish not to prepare surely even if it's close you never know what could happen
Even if a new manager came in by the end of the week, I'd imagine there was already a early pre season plan done and prepared
Very possible Dodds and Proctor are making plans…would be foolish not to have them do that until we appoint a new coach, just in case. It’s possible @Scout73 and @ChunkFTM are both right here.
They’ll definitely be preparing for preseason. It would be irresponsible not to. It’s not their job to find the manager so all they can do is plan in his absence.
Not having a go but why the outrage? Of course there will contingency plans if we are still trying to get a manager over the line. It’s hardly groundbreaking that our interim head coach is planning on early pre season due to there currently being no head coach in position.
**** it, if we don't have anyone by Friday, I'll do it. I spent years on Champ Man building Champions League winning sides and developing young prospects (I favour a 4-3-3 with a high press). I've read dozens of management books including Carlo Ancelotti's quiet leadership and I've read Moneyball and Soccernomics. But most importantly, I'm willing to work with Dodds and Proctor. I don't want to relocate though so I might just travel up two days a week and let the coaches do the rest.
They have to prepare pre season regardless. Can’t leave it to chance whether we have someone in by then, only for it not to happen and all the lads come back for training - only for Dodds & Proctor to go “get yourselves away, we didn’t plan owt.”
