‘Not sure why the “WTF”. I’d rather the club kept it as in house as they can. I’d rather hear nothing before the manager is announced personally. The rest of what you and @Bob the Mackem have said is exactly what we should be told. As little as possible.
Actions speak louder than...however weve seen no actions...thats why the WTF

I know we joke on about this has to be the week each week that passes by but surely we aren’t going to end up going into preseason with out this sorted.

So which is it? No coming back, or possibility of coming back?

Either way, it's a nonsense post

Football fans are always fickle, if we won the first 5 games of the season.. all will be forgotten. Do i expect that to happen, no. So going back to the first part of the statement, i dont think they can recover from this sh*tshow.

I think you are overthinking things.
Am I?

A player with supposed interest elsewhere of which we have many. What are they going to be thinking at this point?

It doesn't scream organised or planned does it. The club says it wants promotion. The action to show that needs to start immediately by appointing a manager.

It should be sorted already.

Just a bit silly now isn't it? It really isn't hard to hire a coach, it isn't even that hard to hire a good coach who is willing to work within the current structure we have. For example, Cifuentes was hired mid season by QPR and could only bring 1 coach with him. Why can't we do that? A team like Sheff Wed managed to appoint Röhl when they were a shambles and they still are now and despite this he signed a new deal. Other clubs have managed to make good appointments within their clubs structures as well so there's no excuses.

We have top end facilities, good investment into the first team playing squad, a young first team which allows the coach to develop players, good investment into a CAT1 academy which is producing some great talent. These things should be the selling point.

Coaches should be running here yet they clearly just aren't and from my point of view that is down to Speakman.
