Have heard two rumours today - a) the club is eerily quiet, very unusual as if no one is in charge, no one around apart from workmen doing the pitch, upgrades to stadium etc. none of back room staff been in for around a week as on holiday. From a separate source b) Robbie Keane is new manager.

Normally hear bits and pieces but it seems the people in charge are not giving much away!

Anyway, I’d be happy with Keane as manager - he’d defo have them plying for each other and have a good ‘togetherness’ in the squad

Keane is inexperienced as a manager, but his record (or his stats at least) looks impressive. No idea regarding the strength of the Israeli league like, but at least we'd finally get our man 20 years on. Wonder if he could bring Jan Koller in as assistant?
