He only won 2 of us last 9 games with us, but yeah, it was likely more the tension which got him sacked. Still don’t think the football was good enough under him before he left though.

...and he won 6 of the 9 games that preceded it. If he was sacked on results alone then it is a very, very harsh sacking. Having said that, managers don't get time anymore. You could win the league, then get sacked 10 games into the next season. Club chairmen have very short memories
I was glad the club released a statement, but now it's looking a little silly to have done so when nothing then followed. I think we need a bit more communication and by that I mean honest, no-bullshit comms - basically do not let Speakman anywhere near the statement and let someone who speaks English write it.
Even laid back folk like me are starting to get concerned.
He did a great job as Nice’s interim manager recently, I’d take him ahead of the other ****e we’ve been linked with.
11 from 10 is pretty bad mind. Less than 51 points across a season at that rate (50 went down this year). Although I do agree with you the reasons of his sackings, should of been given more time
Aye, but it's a 10 game segment of a 46 game season. Just because you take 11 from 10 doesn't mean that you'll automatically take 51 points from the season. Form fluctuates across a season for every team. The 10 games prior to that brought 19 points...
I’ll still back him if it is him. Admittedly I can’t even put my finger on why I don’t want him, or why I want the likes of Maric over him who has even less experience.
Truth be told, the head coach hunt has absolutely battered me and I no longer even know myself who I want.
I DO wonder how much truth there is in names we've been linked with. Seems certain that Still was ready to sign until he had his head turned and we definitely spoke to Rosenior but you have to wonder how many targets the club really have had and how much is internet bullshit. By guess is 95% of the names are just bullshit
I know the feeling mate, I’m absolutely drained by it.
I can’t explain this feeling why I think this process is coming to an end but I really think by Thursday there will be some kind of breakthrough

Of course not, but it’s quite a decent amount of consistent results (nearly 1/4 of a season) where a team challenging for playoffs (or automatics even) is hitting relegation type form. The more recent 10 games will always impact decisions more than the 10 before it. I can understand why the club were looking to make a change at that point, but they got it wrong sacking him when they did. His 12+ months of good work should of gave him the chance to put it right, but like you mention I think there were different factors in play which resulted in his sacking (I.e recruitment disagreements)

I blocked WMS and every one of their acolytes because they are miserable ****s. I don't mind Copley, but if you EVER disagree with him he mutes or blocks you. He refuses to be challenged, even in a constructive way. His twitter has less freedom of speech than North Korea
If this is true these ****s don't have a clue who is a good manager and who should retire from the public view.
