But on the flip side, why would KLD go so hard for Still if he was looking to sell? He'd surely just have outsourced the whole decision to Speakman.

KLD selling doesnt make a lot of sense to me tbh. Brand new investment into the stadium planned, the statement on Friday saying how they want to put things right, would feel strange that he's actually actively looking to sell.
Would be a terrible part of the year too for something like this to be going on if true. Massive upheaval impacting a pretty significant transfer window for us. I do have some doubts whether KLD is the owner that takes us back to the PL but I'd be disappointed if he was looking to sell at this point.

That's just opinions though. Always going to be people on either side. The vast majority seemed pretty vitriolic.
The biggest reason I can think for KLD to sell is the money drain in the championship. I think I recall Smug saying that put off the Dell consortium when they started doing the sums of the money that might be required to get promoted / multiple seasons in the championship.
That's just wishful thinking on your part and fits in with your negative posts and stalking.

Unless you have parachute payments or very successful player trading, every club at this level will lose millions each year. Be stunned if someone like KLD with his family and advisors wasnt aware this would clearly be the case for him.
