How does that work then? Has KLD told him Speakman's off and asked who he thinks would be good? Otherwise this is the tail wagging the dog- the DoF should be selecting the coach, not vice versa.

The only FACT I know is we have spanked off 3 choices, who gets it now is anyone's guess, don't bet on anyone at the minute.

Why would they say it was their original choice. When I advertised a vacancy I could interview 30 people and I would pick the best person for the job. That person was my original choice.

I'd guess that it depends on which one is in post. You don't want to bring in someone who can't work with who's already here when it so crucial for them to be on the same page . Those roles should be virtually equal for the system to work.
