Northern echo saying Rosenior, Cifuentes and Maric (just about) in contention
This is where I’m coming from.
Rosenior Had a hell of a head start with the quality at Hull and still couldn’t get Hull over he line . I don’t like the reports that he’s a possession based coach who doesn’t seem to be able to transition to other styles, I feel an attacking style coach will be much more suited to us England fans.
I’ll always back any new coach but is this guy really the best one for us ?
Sorry mate, of course we can praise what’s gone on inside the club, it’s already happened. Nobody is praising anything that hasn’t happened, we aren’t like you fannies knocking things that haven’t happened.
Well it’s been quite clear Still was our priority and the evidence we were after Jansen looked pretty concrete so there’s 2. Svensson was also due for talks before he committed to another contract at Union wasn’t he? So now we’re onto at least the 4th.. Wasn’t there also talk of Rohl but we wouldn’t pay his compensation?
Not saying all of those were manageable but if we’re talking preferred choices then all of those fit that criteria.
Also totally forgot about Maric
I don’t think I’ve hidden the fact I want Rosenior well. We may get the best person by bad management. What is fairly clear now though is there is something in our offer that isn’t working. Whether it’s the people involved, recruitment plan , budget, pay, staffing or a mix, some red lines seem to be losing good people.
Lets hoping we get an announcement in the nxt couple days, the Friday statement makes me think its close - obviously it's just words so until someone is announced thats all it is

I dont get folk saying we are down to our 5th or 6th candidate as none of us know who were the preferred targets - but each to there own
The process has taken far too long but will be worth it if we get the right manager. Ill judge the process more when we see how the new manager gets on

This is bang on for me, this is my worry. Again people will just say we don’t know what’s going on it’s all speculation etc etc but it seems to be proving very difficult to nail someone down.
So the list is just on who youve heard a rumour about rather than any facts???
