Its only a good option for him if he is given the tools to do the job and can bring in his trusted colleagues. And there are big question marks on both at Sunderland.
Fck off man marra, his vid had you drooling over him. When I pointed out that there was something about him I didn't like, I'm sure you were waxing lyrical about him... I've had a few red, if it wasn't you, it was a few others
No I remember the conversation. I wasn’t waxing lyrical, from memory I was suggesting it was unfair of you to call him an arrogant **** after just watching 10 seconds and encouraging you to watch more You’ve been proven to be right since tho
Most disagreed with you. I can't remember if I did post disagreeing with you, if I didn't I certainly thought it. I saw nothing that I didn't like, until Lens came along. The way that was handled even if we did get him in and he had a successful season he would be all over social media making it clear he was available to the highest bidder!
I saw something in his eyes, not sure the ginger hair came in to it, no offence Corner. Just looked too calculating and agenda driven
As a person who doesn’t go to matches anymore due to weekend family commitments from when I gave up my season ticket the last year in the championship my opinion does not account for much. Getting rid of Mowbray was bad idea and far too early the succession planning is an abomination and just a buzz word nobody should believe the press as they now nowt.
One thing in Will Stills defence about going to the highest bidder, he didn't have a playing career where he made a fortune so needs to grab the chance where he can.
i was one of the few that saw something we did not like...but if he had been the new man he would get the same support as any other.
This, for me, is the difficulty. That's actually what we want isn't it? An ambitious and talented gaffa who knows he's the bees knees and will be sought after? Or, do we want the understated consummate professional with the ability to get us out the league on the quiet...like a Rosenior, or a Mowbray......... or dare I say it, given he's actually done it before...a heckingb....I can't, sorry!!! #cansforjansen
Totally agree, and anyone (Beale included) gets my full support. I'm sure I read somewhere, your impression after the first 15 seconds is usually all you need
Yeah 100%, that's why him being a bit arrogant didn't bother me. I suppose looking for the next step up come hand in hand with getting someone who's young, confident, ambitious and shows some success.
Why are we dismissing any gossip/rumours of claims there’s issues around managers bringing their own staff etc as nonsense but taking Nixons word that Still was just going to the highest bidder, whilst also openly stating anything Nixon says is normally bollocks?
I wasn't enamoured either mate. Even less so now if he's said he was coming and changed his mind. Fùck him if that's the case.
