First shirt I've liked in ages tbh...but agree about the cost...£85 for just a shirt ... and that's the cheap version, the other one is £125 The £85 one is more expensive than what I wear on a daily basis...including my shoes ffs
I just don’t get it. It’s got to the point where you have to wonder whether it’s a rival fan employed by Nike who is designing our kits. Every year, 3 to choose from. Always very underwhelming. As I’ve previously said, Nike don’t generally make kits as nice as some of the other manufacturers, but ours seem to be the worst of their designs. If you haven’t seen them already, wait till you see the rumoured away and 3rd kits. The choice of pyjamas, a deck chair, or mold. take your pick.
I haven’t bought a shirt in yonks now but give it a week, if that, and someone on Twitter will find a link where you can buy it for £15 from DHGate and it’ll look no different to the official. People are already buying the England shirts, £26 for two shirts and they look bang on, god bless piracy
I don’t know much about these “rip off’s”. Are they actually fakes? Or are they simply where the shirts are made, and therefore not fake, but you’re going directly to where Nike manufacture it and avoiding the price hikes? seems crazy that there would be separate factories for the “real deal”, and totally different ones for the “fakes”. And if that is the case, how are the fakes produced and manage to flood the market (with incredibly accurate detail) long before there are official announcements?
They’re top tier knock offs basically, can get football replicas, trainers, watches, elite brands like Balenciaga/ Stone Island etc. I’ve not bought anything before but I know people that have and they’ve always been happy with what they’ve got, I’ll probably give it a try soon for something. I’d imagine only proper fashionistas would be able to spot the differences. The website itself is like eBay but with Chinese sweatshop sellers. They usually won’t show the official logos or names on their products when advertising to avoid copyright issues so you may have to dig a bit to find what you want, as it’s not as simple as typing “spurs home shirt 2024” or “stone island jumper” for instance but that’s why I say check Twitter, people are always posting links and pictures of what they bought.
The club has signed sponsorship deals with Castrol and BP Pules Meaning that, on the same day, we have managed to sign sponsorship deals with a petrol company and an electric car manufacturer (that happens to be owned by a petrol company), which is rumoured to be worth around £10m between the two In other words, that pays off cancelling Nom Belly's contract while also covering the money we never got from Getir - while being £2-3m in the black
Quite an evenly spread out set of fixtures to be honest. Usually there’s one month that seems like the doom and gloom one, sucks we have to wait til Monday night for our first game though and it’s away, welcoming Harry Winks back to the Prem…
Man Utd are at home, Liverpool face a newly promoted team at 12.30 and we're away. You would not have got good odds on that combination, I can assure you!
Winks will go prime Iniesta then score a 40 yrd ****pinger and Middison will do a gazza and wreck his ACL in a complete and utter pointless tackle on Vardy
All in all I don’t think we can be too peeved overall though. It’s often felt like we’ve had at least one or two months where the fixture list is hell in terms of having something like three big six games or derbies all after one another, and usually involving the majority being away too. Leicester away on paper should be a Spurs win too. No doubt they’ll be up for it being back in the Prem but they’re the fixtures the City’s/ Arsenal’s/ Liverpool’s win in title/ top four races and if we want to be in that mix then we’ll have to as well.
I really don't like the look of our run of away games in April and May to finish the season. It's a collection of teams we always drop points against.
And he’ll lift up his shirt in front of the cameras with a “**** you, Dier Hard!” undershirt on display.
I'm pretty sure that we request the starting fixture to be away, too. Not 100% about this season, as we don't have that many events and we've got the home Bayern friendly, though. I'd prefer to avoid away games against the newly promoted sides as a general rule. Lots of them will be on a high and get a boost out of playing regular Premier League sides. Leicester won't have that unfamiliarity kick though and they've lost their manager. Hopefully we'll be able to take advantage and we'll pick a side that's somewhat stable.
Alasdair Gold says we're set to sign a sponsorship deal with BetMGM Well I guess we know when The FA finally brings in measures against the gambling industry having branding all over the Premier League...
That's exactly what I'd expect from Son. Bentancur probably should try to make more of an apology in Korea, though.
There's suggestions that Bentancur could face a three-match ban Local t-shirt manufacturers no doubt upset to learn that we're not a bunch of racist-defending twats, unlike some teams I could mention
