I know some of the threads have been locked, but these people have the audacity to complain about them being closed. They dont take the hint once that its out of order and then continue to persist. Its easy enough to say dont go to general chat but why shouldnt we? Theres things like the Music, Gaming and many other threads that should be there and not here and from what I gather more than one computer virus has been let into Not 606 from them idiots. Its all well and good closing threads and explaining why like has happened but that isnt enough. Is this just me being a whiny so and so or should this stupid minority be got rid to both make the site safer and a more welcoming? I know the genuine football fans on here wont want people to come on to the site, see this shower of **** and go elsewhere, which is what will happen.
 
Yeah, theyre proper ****s and give not606 a bad name, but they wont be banned. I just avoid GC completely. <ok>
 
I'm horrified that they continually joke about it. Do they have no compassion at all?

I hope they go to bed tonight, the way they started. Lonely, and miserable
 
I was arguing with a couple of them earlier - ****ing low-life scum. They think it's funny to disrespect the dead and mock the memory of famous people that pass on.

I've tried asking for a number of them to be banned but to no avail.

I get the feeling the majority of us are totally disgusted by the sick attitude of some on the GC board - it would seem the powers at be are quite happy for these kind of threads to continue.

Disgraceful.

Once again, Syd spoke (or at least tried to) sense to them, saying its not about humour or freedom of speech, rather a lack of respect for someone who was so massively important in a game they claim to love and the family he left behind.

There's a time and a place and today, in the face of so many who cared, was neither. I will happily explain this to that rancid little **** Viking the next time he tries to act all pally on here as well!
 
They seem to be of the opinion, that because you did not know the guy personally you can't therefore show your respect and its fair game to mock the guy. It takes sick minds to form that view but there you go. At times like this its best to avoid the ****s.

Its the same people making the threads continuously and posting in them among themselves, its a sick minority who have been told already on this occasion more than once. For me thats too much, it really is. The way they turned a genuine thread of condolanse into that is really disturbing and we cant just let them get away scot free. Really we cant.
 
Yeah is anyone a little disappointed in Maltese Mick? I understand his awkward position but surely he should look to do something about GC, it's ****ing horrendous.

Those threads were horrendous, and offensive.
 
They are being excessive and ****y for ****iness' sake, but joking about the recently deceased is something I'd bet most of us have taken part in. Although they say we're pushing mock grief in their faces, I've not seen this and I'm not one to post any grief or RIP messages, but I was very surprised with how Speed's death hit me.
