There was a bellend in The Promenade along Seaburn last night singing Andy Cole songs. What possesses idiots like that to think they won’t be hoyed out or put in hospital. The doorman kicked him out but **** me why would ya be arsed to potentially get kicked to **** just to sing ****e thinking ya nails.
Because everyone is hard as nails until they get slotted in the face. He knew he'd be protected with there being a doorman.
Try signing songs like that in a pub in Castletown son. See what happens then

From another thread....

I think the club are doing things really well which antagonises some weird people and gives then cart blanche to have yet another go at SAFC ...

... I also didn't post because I respect the club and the chap who told me, although it wasn't strictly in confidence.

He has no interest in Sunderland and isn't in the football world, just a fortunate chance encounter.

I get loads of info about Newcastle but that's of no interest tbh, the latest is that half a dozen players want away.
Smug, I'm interested in the those that want away... any names? Presume Trippier is one after the hotel incident?

Trippier, Isak, the painted egg, Wor Jer and the one who looks like a Toby Jug on legs.

Edit, just looked at their squad and still can't remember the last one.

I only called cos I was feeling a bit lonely, Mrs Smug is staying at her sister's for a while, and tried to get some Sunderland info. All I got was that he thought the club would avoid any announcement, at the weekend, because there was too much football going on. I got the feeling that was as much his opinion as knowledge and he's not the kind of friend I can grill <laugh>

A shadow Newcastle side were deservedly dismantled by a domestic select XI at the Marvel Stadium in the Australian city of Melbourne on Friday.

32 year-old goalkeeper Mark Gillespie led out a rookie line-up with a combined total of zero Premier League starts and they unsurprisingly floundered against an experienced side including four senior internationals.
