Trump is a threat to us, assuming the UK? Why, because he is not a socialist, an habitual liar and a crook like Biden.

I do find it odd that people on that side of the pond can't see Trump for what he is.

If Biden is a bit of a liar and a crook, IF he is those, then he is definitely the lesser of two evils IMO.

In fact, the only thing out of those three things that I would want him not to be is a socialist. If I was in the US and voting, I probably would be a Republican, but not if Trump was the one I was voting for.

He is IMHO a threat to the world and his last term made the outside (ie the rest of the world) really question the USA's credibility. It wasn't the Republican part that was the worry but the man himself.

This has to be trolling. Biden is none of those things but Trump is definitely two of them. The fact checkers can’t even keep up with his lies and he is currently under multiple criminal charges and already been found guilty of civil ones.

I know it’s 90% likely you are throwing bait out, but I’ll indulge for now.

Easy, he will likely pull funding for Ukraine, advantage Russia. Pressure right on NATOs doorstep, one step closer to global conflict.

Never mind that he’s threatened to withdraw the US from NATO which would shift the global power balance, to our detriment.

And he wants to suspend democracy in the US which would be globally destabilising.

Ignoring all else it’s pretty clear that Trump is a risk to the UK’s defences.

He wants to suspend democrasy, that's a laugh, Biden as weponized the fbi, doj and cia and his cronies have him tied up in court on bullshit charges. Just keep getting your news from the left wing BBC.

This is why I do not like a political thread on a football forum. I really enjoy all of the banter on the football. But when it comes to politics we are eons apart. If Biden is elected again the US will become a totalitarian one party state party. Every time he opens his mouth he lies. Over and out.

You don’t happen to subscribe to right wing podcasts, by any chance?

This is another country’s political set up, not ours. Yet some people pay more attention to it than they do what goes on here. Unfortunately, listening to liars lie about their lies tends to belie the ground they lie upon. Trump is a liar. A very outspoken liar using the generosity (stupidity?) of the public to fund his legal bids. He only wants back in so he can pardon himself - which will be the most damaging act against Western Democracy in history.

All the facts are there. This isn’t about ‘listening to left wing media’. This is about being willingly brainwashed by a truly terrifying cult.

So 78 million people are a cult.

Just to be sure, I liked the great run we had with your 25 game winning steak. This is why I hate a political thread. It ruins the camaraderie of supporting the Saints. I agree to disagree as I live here and experience Bidens destruction of this country everyday. Up the saints.

I just don’t see it that way. Why take anything here personally? We are discussing politics not each other. I made the cult comment as I keep seeing Trumpists trotting out these lines about Biden being a liar and corrupt, while seeming to be happy to let the man who has lost countless trials from the 90s onwards off the hook.

Dislike Biden all you want, but pretending Trump is not the spoilt brat child of a billionaire, a narcissist and a liar is sticking your head in the sand.

Which exact policies of Biden’s make him such a danger to the US, btw? Are they as serious as asking Russia to attack the US’s European allies?

Trump thinks he beat Obama to the presidency in 2016. The man is crazy as a fruitloop.

I just don’t get it.

Five questions for ex Post. Office boss Paula Vennels.
https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cg33yjdpn0qo

When did she know accounts could be accessed remotely?

Did she lie to Parliament in 2015?

Why didn’t she do more to find out what was going on?

Why did she allow the Post Office to fight sub-postmasters in court?

Was anyone pulling her strings?

With any luck, the next question Paula Vennels will ask is: "Do you want fries with that?"

The extent to which image and public relations dictated the Post Office's approach to its sub-postmasters is revealed in a fawning email, seen by the Eye, from former chief executive Paula Vennells to her then communications director, Mark Davies.
