I saw it all including trent blubbering and the entire wolves squad out behind klopp filming while we walked out. Legend.

I swear klopp knew everyone there.like mates in the security and stadium staff etc.

Side by side it seemed suprisingly impersonal. But then it also inplied that Matip was untalented so I didn't read much into it.

Something went on imo. Does it really matter? Maybe he was fit to contribute in the run in maybe not. Who knows

The Bajetic and Thiago situation always seemd a bit odd to me always felt something went on behind the scenes. There injuries were always vague like Clyne with his general back injury a few year ago. That was a good thing about Klopp no behind the scence drama really ever leaked. Only one I can remember was the Sakho incident everything else was done behind closed doors with no one really finding out.

Yeah funny how Clyne never had any issues with his fitness at palace once he's allowed to snort what he likes.
 
Klopp was very complimentary about Thiago saying he was "a world class player that could do things he didn't think were possible ...... he was in control of everything but his body didn't play its part". In the same interview he said that he may be able to play some part in the final game as he was in training. Maybe Thiago decided against it because Klopp would hardly announce it if he had no intention of giving him some minutes. Guess we'll never know. I didn't see him trying to get away from Klopp post match btw.
