We can all google stuff, Strolls. Quite a lot has happened in the last 47 years. The reality is there isn’t going to be lasting peace. It’s kill or be killed and I’m opting for kill if I’m in that situation.

The fact that I googled the Likud statement doesn't make the point any less valid. This is what Netanyahu's current Likud administration wants to put into practice. October 7th is a perfect excuse.

October 7th was a ****ing terrorist atrocity you idiot.

But despite Israel pulling out of Gaza nearly two decades ago and having the power to bulldoze the whole place and turn it into luxury flats at any time it’s now that they’re going to do that but after seven months and counting of war where they’ve gone to probably unprecedented lengths to minimise civilian casualties at their own expense.

Three dead hostages’ bodies kept as trophies/collateral recovered yesterday. Tunnels to Egypt. Do what you gotta do Bibster.

But.. Col and I on the same team. Woop woop.

Yes it was, did I say otherwise?

Do you still think, as Goldie seems to, that the Israeli response has been reasonable and proportionate?
What's a reasonable and proportionate response to you
Always asked of a people that's not feeling reasonable or proportionate

I'm certainly not an apologist for what Hamas did on October 7th.

Now will you answer my question?

I think the Israeli response has been completely understandable.
Hamas have contributed greatly to the loss of life by placing Palestinians, who they couldn't give a **** about, in harm's way.

Understandable or justified? When does it stop? Do you think Netanyahu would stop if the remaining hostages (those not already killed by Israeli action) were released tomorrow?

No, you said it was an excuse for Israel to carry out their operation.

You're an apologist.

I'm not an apologist for terrorism, Palestinian or Israeli.

Like what? He’s got it all sorted already, hasn't he? Or is he going to make things in the capital even better than he’s already done? After his resounding endorsement from 17.739% of the electorate the world is his lobster.

He’s got another 100 LGBTQIA+ zebra crossings to paint for a start and that’s before organising Trans Midget Muslim Traveller Awareness Month. Give the bloke a chance.
