Dodds, Proctor, Barcherini, whoever is in charge of the data now considering we clearly aren't using it anymore, Beale was not a tactical or cultural fit, Harvey I have doubts over, then just how we are going about the search for a new coach with KLD apparently being heavily involved.

I like and am a supporter of the system we are trying to implement at the club, just don't think we are doing it correctly.

You're right,we haven't done it correctly,Beale then Dodds was a bad mistake. We do have an opportunity to learn and to get it right now though.

In the European way of doing things, the culture comes from higher up in the organisation. In most cases the DoF or equivalent, and that runs through the entire club, at every level. The coach is appointed on his suitability to fit into that culture. Changing the coach therefore causes limited disruption. Or, at least, that is the theory.

I think you're right, in the scenario that you highlight, there is the potential for conflict. However, I'd imagine if you're used to working under those conditions, you know how to negotiate such situations.

Its not really that different to how British clubs operated up until the 1940s and in some cases in to the 1960s.

I suppose I was thinking more about the conflict between the short term and longer term objectives, where one may have to be compromised in favour of the other, and both the DoF and the Coach would have to be in sync.

Reactions: The Norton Cat
What would people say if we got rosenior, I wouldn't think it would be bad but I can see a lot melting down
I wouldn't meltdown as it's not my style but I'd be disappointed. I find his football is mind numbingly dull, I really think our identity as a club needs to be based on a high intensity, front foot style - it's what our crowd responds best to and our crowd, if used right, can be a real advantage to us - at least at this level.

Around 87 days since we sacked Beale

The club must know who they really want to replace him, surely…
