Was it Molby who said we needed to sell a bus load of players after a game, after just signing, literally a new squad?
Yeah, no way he goes in that hard about Allsop or Connolly’s weight without reading this forum. That doesn’t mean what fans say should be repeated and endorsed by the owner.
Slagging off your own players is never going to be a good look. I think Acun had got carried away here. Needs to leave this stuff to Tan who is the ultimate professional who would know how to deal with this in the right way.
Nah he’s passed it too Greaves, who passed it Jones who then passed it back Allsopp who passed it too Coyle?
If I was Allsop I wouldn't go anywhere but I'd barely train and come back in for pre season about 3 stone overweight
I'm not going to disagree it was brave, but it was also foolish. What did we learn tonight that we didn't already know? We already knew that Rosie left because they didn't agree on the way the team played. But now we know he really didn't like the performances of Allsopp, wasn't impressed by the fitness of Connolly and he thinks we should always play a striker at home. Did we really need that extra detail? Is that good or bad for future team morale? There's honesty and then there's honesty.
I think it would have been good if our new manager was given the chance to see who he wanted to keep and who he wanted to get rid of, rather than the owner ending their time with us at a public event. That’s if our prospective new manager hasn’t just popped out for a bite to eat with DJ Campbell.
The thing is, we all know Allsop as a keeper but we have no idea what he's like as a person. If he's a good lad and a popular member of the squad, that's just complete stupidity.
