... I've held off but I can't resist any longer.

I've watched this advert a hundred times and it intrigues me. There's been some crackers, over the years, but this is my absolute favourite. It's so cool because the characters aren't the usual good looking advert types and there's no real action or glamour.

What really gets me is how it asks so many questions and asks more every time you watch ...

... why does the security guard just watch and laugh when some weirdo is nicking a barrel of beer, why does the horse wink, why is there a massive traffic jam when nothing is holding them up, why is the Flamenco dancer so angry, how does the barman know our hero wants a pint of Cruzcampo <cheers>

So many questions, what are yours?

One of my favourites. From the music to the little move he makes when the ladies walk past. Brilliant.

Absolutely glorious mate and, I'm not mistaken, the fabulous Odetta on vocals ...

... what a woman.

My only question is ...

... where the f*ck was his credit card for the drink <laugh>

I’ve not watched that all the way through until now. That is bloke is happy, content and f@cking down with his life

Show me a bloke who’s training 6 hours a day for his body as happy, relaxed and content as that bugger !

Ps I’m definitely adding that music to me library.

Must admit I have chuckled at it myself and yes it's right up there amongst the very best.

I can always admire clever people and there are so many subtle things in this advert that you don't notice at first.

Even the music, 'I did it my way', he certainly did.

One of the things I like best is the face of the grumpy middle class shopkeeper who just can't see the joy in it ...

... some people can't just have a bit of daft fun as if they think it's undignified.

They're the ones missing out imo.

The marketing guy or person who thought of this one deserves the advertisment equivalent of an Oscar
