The fella who told me about Rigg to Bayern Munich also reckons there’s plenty of interest in Aouchiche from abroad.

I personally hope he stays and gets a run in the 10 just off a proper centre forward.

Aouchiche is one of those who I'd like to stay as I think he's talented, but if we got a good bid in for him at a major profit, wouldn't be too disappointed to sell.

This is an interesting debate. I would argue that the likes of Hume,Ballard,O9,Aji,Neil,Ekwah,Rigg,and others have gained lots of experience over this last couple of seasons in this division. If we take the striker role out for the minute....where,I agree we don't have any experience yet,....the rest of the squad must have learned loads. We don't necessarily need to look at 29/30 year olds for experience....we have intelligent younger players who must have amassed loads of it already.
For example,a bit of an extreme to emphasise the point I know, but if Rigg stays,by the time he's 18,we'll have a very experienced player.

Rigg has played 800 minutes of football. I’ve probably spent longer having a ****e at work in the last month. Think bringing someone into our Xl, ideally a CB or CDM for me, who’s been about a bit and played a lot of games at a decent level would be invaluable.

I’d like an experienced CB to come in and partner Ballard.

Same. Mentioned on here before Brentford signing Pontus Janssen and making him captain straight away was a brilliant decision. Narrowly missed out on promotion first season losing in the play off final but only conceded 38 goals, then promoted the following season conceding 42. Think they had the 2nd or 3rd best defence in the league both seasons. Season before they signed him they’d conceded 59.

This. If we could get someone who. Like create and bury chances we might compete. He’s not a bad player but probably not that. Neat and clever but not productive.

For whatever ridiculous reason he only started getting a run in that position at the back of the season, and looked our best option there too. Another player who needs a good run with settled players around him.

Said this before but most players will struggle when a team chops and changes as much as we do.

Couldn't even get in their first team ffs. No thank you very much. Nobody came in for him in January despite being made available. Clubs linked now include Wrexham, Bristol Rovers and Mansfield.
Peterborough fan at work reckons he's off to Turkey anyway.

Dropped due to not signing a contract, had a goal every 180 minutes (1 in 2).

I would do business on Adil for a good return personally. I am not convinced by him personally. I do agree his chances havent been great, but those he has had have been a bit in and out. I think he is technically very gifted and is dynamic. I also think he can rush his decision making and as a result make the wrong one.

Like others I think he is a 10. I am not sure is good enough to be in a championship promotion side as a 10 though. If we played 2 10s then I would be happy enough with him in the side. Plus, in the next season or so I really do think Rigg will go way beyond Adil in terms of performance levels. So a bit of profit now may make some sense in terms of correcting squad balance.

That’s if Rigg is here? I personally don’t believe he will be.
