I seem to vaguely remember that City had licensing issues with the track so it had to be scrapped

Does anyone know who put it together and who did the voiceover? It's not Shazzamable so obviously not a commercial release and with the lyric change to Tigers plural and 'hallowed turf' it must've been someone local.

Somebody once told me it was the same bloke who did the voice of the announcer on Robot Wars (not Craig Charles or Jonathan Pierce obviously).

I think it predated Jordan. Wasn't it still the previous guy (Martin Hainstock?) doing the stadium announcements when we first moved to the KC?
