Given the protesters use the UN figures, the UN are complicit in criminal damage and assaults.

I would hope that it would be used to inform migration policies, but from experience, I have little to no confidence that it would be accurate anyway.

I'm more curious as to why civil servants get much of a say in these decisions anyway in a democratic country, and why they would object to it being gathered.
