I don’t mind the DJ during the warm-up but the whole pyrotechnics and cringe montages before the players walk out is so tinpot. I’m surprised more away fans don’t take the piss with a ‘what the ****ing hell is that?’ when it happens.

Honestly call me old school but stick on club foot and galvanise that’s enough for me

My point was that we’re not the only team that plays that way and more often than not plays out from the back whilst maintaining possession. Ipswich got caught out doing the same thing but managed to get promoted automatically.
You can point at the fact that they move the ball much more quickly from that point but the playing out from the back is the same strategy.
It's not the same at all if you play it at walking pace like we do.

I'm a big fan of all of that stuff. When I go to watch DIF here in Sweden I love all the pre-match chanting, flag displays and flares. However, none of it is organic its all manufactured and choreographed by the Ultras.

From your video you can see the Capos directing the chanting and working the crowd from their special platforms (for the whole match) and next to them the drummers beating out the timing.

I suspect if the club erected platforms in front of the crowd and installed capos and drums there'd be an up roar that this wasn't traditional to the English game.

FWIW I'd try it. It could go brilliantly with Walts Kamikaze-ball approach.
I went to watch Orlando City a few years ago now, the atmospheric was actually very good, there was constant singing, but, like what you’re describing, there was a leader who was organising the chants & songs.
The fact you can drink beer in your seat helps too.

The iron lion firm ( I think that's what they are called ) do a really good job of drumming up support, pre match, during the game and pre match. But TBF to the yanks, they do do sports very well.... Tailgating is a great example

Always live entertainment outside of the games, MLS, NBA, NFL, things to do, games, giveaways & food trucks to eat from too.

Just got home from a holiday in Budapest where we met our German friends. Unfortunately I was unable to log on , but was able to follow everything on here. Better late than never.
1. Shocked to see Rosy sacked , I thought he would get the Summer window and Acun would see where we were at Christmas.
2, My German friend said if we get Walter expect attacking, exciting football, win, lose or draw. Let's see what the future brings and if it is Walter get behind him and the team.

Many were genuinely surprised by the actual sacking..has to be said. Problem was The Big Turk didn’t like what he saw apparently especially at home in front of sell out crowds and therefore pulled the trap door lever.

Whoever does come in now has to get us into the play offs next season you would imagine or suffer the same fate as Liam Roseinior who tried to do it playing possession football.

UTT.

Yes but the inference was that doing it at all was too risky. I would imagine the risk is potentially likely to increase further the faster you move it around the penalty area. If all of the rumours are to be believed, it looks like we’re going to find out.

So,...................................................................................................all is currently very quiet. Any other candidates on the radar? Setze nicht alles auf eine Karte.

They do.
They even make baseball a good experience to go to even though it’s the most boring sport in the world (obviously only because formula 1 isn’t a real sport)
