Our away support is class. They've been brilliant throughout the match.

Far more than the team deserve, at least they had the balls to go over and face up to it at the end - hate it when teams slink off.
Man Utd always sell out but they never sing when they are getting beat up here, easy to support when things are going well.
You must've heard us sing a lot then playing you.
Har har...
But yea, Liverpool are the same, plenty of noise til they are behind then not a peep.
Liverpool this season didn't make a sound until they turned things around and won right at the end.
We were **** tonight and the fans were singing throughout. They were clearly heard in full voice.
Dunno whether to eat my chicken salad that’s in the fridge, or, just make do with a bowl of honey nut cornflakes and keep the chicken salad for dinner tomorrow.
Thoughts on this difficult decision?
They’ll inevitably be back but why does the league need a good United (or any club)? It’s considerably more fun when they’re ****.This is arguably the worst United team since their relegation back in the 70s (it is IMHO) ... I say that as one who witnessed that relegation... and as one who didn't particularly enjoy it and certainly didn't revel in it - indeed I remember being quite saddened ... it was a case of a once great but, by then, ageing team that had many players past their sell-by dates (ironically one of them, Dennis Law, had moved across the City and scored against them in a win at Old Trafford) ... and yet it was still unbelievable that they ended up going down ... almost unthinkable...
... but this lot are definitely worse for me, given that the squad has been assembled from all over the world and at astronomical cost ... you can excuse lack of ability... but never lack of effort and commitment... and unfortunately they seem to have the latter in buckets ...
For me the Premier League needs a competitive Manchester United but the rebuild needed can't be underestimated... they are way behind the top 3 and whilst Chelsea are currently giving their supporters every reason to believe they can mount a challenge next season, United fans must be dreading it ...

Man Utd are brilliant every time they come to Sunderland. Best away fans in the premier league. I don’t believe you, btw. Every other clubs supporters acknowledges how good their away support is.Man Utd always sell out but they never sing when they are getting beat up here, easy to support when things are going well.
Not until I forced it on them and even then they weren’t much help.these ****s help you out bro?
so what did you go for?
Fair assessment Fosse, I weren't around back then but a couple of the posters on our board were and probably can comment. The only bit I disagree with is the last part. I never dread it, always the optimist and they way I see it, I've always relished the turn around and improvement. And even though I don't know about the 70's there's no doubt that feeling's bcos of that period at the end of the 80's and where we were and then obviously the turnaround after that. Nothing beats it.
