He looks a lesser player in a poor Utd team. That could probably be said for a few others too. Perhaps he would be open to a move - I’m sure he wants to win major trophies, which he has little chance of achieving at Utd in the foreseeable future.

Maybe I’m just misunderstanding it but it still seems a bit of a grey area as to how teams will be able fund the spending.
Does it essentially mean your owners can invest as much as they want (within the cap) into the squad or that you can spend up to the cap depending on how much you make? Because if what Kaveh theoretically says and it’s 4.5 x the lowest teams media revenue which is £103m then I doubt many teams will make enough money to even spend £460m+ unless ownership investment is indeed permitted.
If it opens the floodgates then I don’t get why City, Utd and Villa voted against it or why Chelsea abstained. As those clubs would have the capacity to spend more I’d imagine, especially a team like Villa, their owners are minted as far as I’m aware.

The multiplier has yet to be decided but if you take the suggested 4.5 times the lowest club tv revenue it includes the wage bill so it's not just a transfer pot. The objectors will no doubt be the players because in effect it will be a wage cap.

Iirc their wage bill is currently a huge % of 'organic' revenue and has been for a while, so much so that they will probably be in FFP trouble next season if they don't add CL money to the purse.

In fact, you could even be so brazen about this that you wear one of those sponsors on your nice sky blue shirt and also name your half empty stadium after them.
