Been some great snooker
And more to come love it
However the format of the games has changed there now in sessions
I remember the days when the games were played out with little rests in between

Not liking the look of this from Ronnie missing too many easy pots.
Always got the feeling from Ronnie that sometimes he just can't be arsed. If he had the dedication of a Hendry or a Davis he would have win 15 world titles...

I think he does care as much but because of his erratic overthinking nature he's got a defence mechanism of acting all nonchalant, so when he's not on his game he can act like he wasn't bothered in the first place.

If he could switch on robot mode like Hendry and Davis he'd be literally unbeatable but he can only tap into it in spurts.

He wasn’t great today but I still fancy O’Sullivan to win comfortably tomorrow. 4-4 currently

3x qualifiers and 1 no 12 /29/31/44 in the world
In the semi finals
It’s just great for the game
The snooker has been top class and I’m looking forward to the last few matches

It’s wide open now!

Ronnie said he really enjoyed the championship because he was cuing well but I don't buy that, that was about as frustrated as I've seen him and some of his misses were terrible by his standards. Always a good loser though takes it with good grace.

It'll be interesting to see Jones in his next game I was impressed with him against Trump. Didn't bottle it as he got closer to the finish line.

Ronnie still looked good at times
However I’ve never seen him miss as many in one match

There were flashes but so many bad misses, hopefully just a blip and it's best to write this one off and forget about it.

Of course there will come the time when he hangs up his cue because he's "stinking the place out" to quote Ronnie. I thought he was heading that way a couple of years ago but he rallied and played some great snooker.
