Rules are quite clear . Naming any scorer clearly doesn’t get you anything, hence your zero points for Kane.

If you want to appeal, Nev will be called in to arbitrate.

Think the rules as written are a bit vague on this point as to "first scorer" of what? I picked Kane on the basis that he'd be the first scorer of a penalty, which he was.and, therefore, I am entitled to the appropriate points score. Quite straight forward if you ask me.

I could appeal but isn't it better for the competition for Toonboy and myself to be dealt with fairly and within a timescale when we are both still alive.

Think the rules as written are a bit vague on this point as to "first scorer" of what? I picked Kane on the basis that he'd be the first scorer of a penalty, which he was.and, therefore, I am entitled to the appropriate points score. Quite straight forward if you ask me.

This is the key point. I think you should both commence the rest of the 'final' on zero points, to make it 'fair and even'.
