Grandson mate, the match doesn't matter but he does. To be clear I'm not saying no Sunderland matches matter in comparison to family but at this point we're just seeing the season out, we're not going to learn anything valuable from the last couple of games.
I must admit I was leaning that way myself and you're right regarding the stage of the season but it's Sunderland and I hate missing matches
Definitely see the bairn mate. It means so much to them when family members turn up to watch them in sport, school plays etc.
Get a cardboard cut out of yersel printed up, like the policemen they have in shops ... ... providing it doesn't blow over he'll never realise
Grandson every time. My grandson whose 17 next week is just starting his Refereeing journey and I try to get to watch him as much as possible. I see in his face every time I make the effort to watch him so it has to be go watch the young'un after all non of us know how many of these occasions we might have left.
Cheers for the thread again fella. Normally make all adjustments to watch out away games. Havnt entered it into my weekend plans yet. That said, will probably ensure I get back at 14.55 to watch
go watch your grandson, mate. You can always watch the highlights later and he’ll appreciate it. a sauna afterwards sounds canny
No contest marra...young un every time...it means so much to them. When you get to our time of life, they won't be young uns for very long,so take the opportunities to show your love and support for them when you can. There'll be time enough for you to go to lots of our matches in the future.
Back on thread.....I don't normally take tissues to a match,(even if I'm expecting us to get thumped),but the Charlie song will ring out at Vicarage Road tomorrow, and I will need them!
Cheers RTB one more after this then you can put your feet up for a while,I’m back home for this so at least I’ll get to see it in some shape or form I’m going 2-0 to the lads and a great day had by all. Enjoy all those travelling down COME ON
Cleverley has been made permanent manager for them so I’m changing my prediction to a 3:1 away win for the lads
2-0 Watford. New manager bounce (they must get dizzy as they do this 3 times a season) and the likes of Clarke, Roberts and co playing within themselves Can see Sheff Wed beating us next weekend too Miserable twat that I am
1-4. Hopefully Doods actually listens to me this week and tells them to go out and enjoy themselves. Take shots from anywhere and fk defence. Just go for it.
Cheers, I'll check to make sure he's not found one and let you know. Is it a paper ticket or e-ticket. We're all meeting up around 1pm ... Estcourt Tavern 25 Estcourt Road Watford WD17 2PY https://g.co/kgs/9Td44mD
Paper ticket mate, I'll see how far away that is from the hotel if not can meet you at the ground if you still need it ofcourse.
