Hull City manager Liam Rosenior told BBC Radio Humberside: ( from his secret bunker at the back of Chaz house watching on a dodgy Firestick provided by Big Verns brother...)

"I am proud. All of the work we have put in to building this team, this style, how we fight for each other.

"Noah's goal sums it up. He chases a lost cause and charges down the keeper. That sums up the mentality of this group.

"To come away to a really good team, some of the football we played in the first half was the stuff you dream about as a coach.

"We have to take it into a massive game against Ipswich on Saturday. Beyond anything that happens between now and the end of the season, I am really proud of the season and of how far we've come."
That explains why he’s so slow with his subs, mine keeps bloody freezing and buffering too.

So the ref did us a favour then? Maybe that was what his chat with the Lino was about before awarding that goal, rather than the (I think we came up with) 4 or 5 reasons it should not have counted.
Tbh I have said all along we’re best targetting next season, though it’s going to be tough again.

Wasn’t referring to that game where we were robbed, just a general observation as to where we are at this moment,

Let’s be honest, despite a good first half, we were rather lucky to win that one! Will take it though.

You can see that individually we have some fantastic players - and that will shock Ipswich. I don’t think they’ll play us off the park this time around. But we really need to work on our attacking play.

Coventry, like many of the opposing teams, just manage to do it so quickly. That final bit of quality just let them down in the end. As I said pre-match, thank f*** they didn’t start the big guns!

Overall, I’m pleased with the performance, especially the effort. Not as much time wasting at the back and having Delap and a more attacking mentality definitely helped us tonight.

Looking forward to Saturday a lot. UTT.

That has to be one of the weirdest collections of incidents surrounding goals in a game that I’ve witnessed in a very long time.
Just pleased that we came out on the right side of it this time.
Even though I’m not expecting a miracle, it’s still nice to have something to play for at the right end of the table this close to the end of the season.

We weren't unlucky at all.

In almost every sense we dominated them 3 to 1.

If I were to criticise it's that we let 2 in, despite questions marks of officiating over both of them.

Agree. Ohio is just a much closer player to Delap in terms of physicality anyway so in terms of how we play best with a striker it would’ve made sense to play him more IMO

I think he's being introduced to very good effect. Personally.

Were utilising his specific attributes at the right times and not expecting him to be a 'complete' option for any situation, which he clearly isn't.

Yet.

Could be Rosenoir wants an extra outfield player for choice as sub but Pandur is there incase Allsop injures himself in warmup

Think we're looking for a few quid for Ingram. So he's strategically being recognised as an option in squad selections.

Pandur is the long term option, but I suspect we're just reminding the league that Matty is still a very good championship keeper.

If Norwich or West Brom lose on Saturday, it’ll be electri

Do you have A levels in stating the obvious?
I was just pointing out the irony of that one diabolical decision in the first game of the season potentially having such a significant bearing on the top six.
As you say if we had reached 6th, we’d have had as good a chance as anyone.

Not really having that.

Poor decision here and there granted but overall things tend to even themselves out over a season. Reason we ain’t further up the league pal is our home form.

You don’t need A levels to work that one out.

There's been times he's looked so poor though so it's easier said than done. Best he's looked for us tonight and he's improved a lot since he first came in the door. He looked after the ball well tonight and his back-to-goal play, on the whole, was so much better.

Not an ideal January signing when you need a striker to hit the ground running but potentially a very good one if we keep him long term.

Three quarters to one? I totally agree.
Seeing highlights, their first was not a foul. Second was well out of play. I thought Delaps foul was outside the box initially, but definitely correct decision.
