So both the FA and the clubs lose money, the fans have to pay more to see their team than necessary.
What sort of mickey mouse business strategy is that. Oh I know we can just go to the Premier league with a begging bowl and get a few quid to spread around.
The amount the winning club gets for each round starts at £1,500 and ends at £15,000 for the semi-final, the winner of the final gets £60k (the loser £30k). There’s no way that it costs non-league clubs money when they win it.
The chance for a non-league player to play in a Wembley final is obviously a big incentive, though personally I think they should play the final at a much smaller ground.
Maybe also add in all the sponsorships they get then, for reaching a high profile final. Now add up travel costs, hotel stays, food and drinks bill, new kits and suits for all the squad, and their partners and family and mates and any other freebies. I think they would soon get through £60,000 I also think north Ferriby said so in the hdm.

It probably depends on which teams get there and the gate receipts .Maybe also add in all the sponsorships they get then, for reaching a high profile final.

It looked like Ferriby took about 5 coaches full but if both teams take 10,000 it would pay off
Do the teams get anything from gate receipts at Wembley ? My main point is that the FA should make sure the clubs get their just rewards for getting there.
