would be my first choice as well I think. I know it’s easy for coaches and managers to talk a good game but I really like the way he speaks about tactics and the way he wants his teams to play etc.
Might be some time I spent growing up in Belgium but I like the guy. I'd be very excited if we appointed him.
Need him to commit early. Can’t be carrying on too long. I think he’d be an exciting appointment although I’m somewhat concerned with his clear agitating for a move.
To be fair, he didn't originally want the head coach job but Reims said he would have to buy himself out of the contract. I said it in December when we were linked and will say it again that I think he has serious issues with the Reims board and wants out but can't until someone pays the compo or he's sacked
Final game on the 18th May I see Reims are on a bit of a poor run anyway. 2 wins from their last 11 games and currently 1-0 down at home…
Surely employment law allows him to quit his role within a notice period as written into the contract???
Isn't it something to do with the fines they were paying while he was completing his coaching badges?
https://www.getfootballnewsfrance.c...ds-oscar-garcia-hes-never-spoken-to-me-again/ Pretty sad state of affairs really.
I’ve said a few times. A big business in a competitive space will either change personnel or structure or both if there’s a flaw and there is. If had a choice if keep Speakman for some bits but add a person to first team recruitment. Not sure his ego would swallow it like as that’s a demotion so that might mean he’d be off. Those saying he’s done no good are fools though.
If we want someone with a winning record we are probably going to have to look at a league lower than ours. Phil Parkinson is doing well apparently.
Is Still any good, don't know much about him. His current run of form would have fans calling for him to be sacked if he was at Safc.
It's hardly a glowing reference, but are there extenuating circumstances for the poor run of form? I have no idea
